He sat up and rubbed his head. "What a dream," he muttered. He saw some tea and soda on the table they had left for him, as well as some biscuits and honey. He gladly began to eat and replenish his energy. Jason groaned. He didn't like to be poked. He turned over, trying to ignore the person poking him. "Go away," he mumbled. "Make me," replied Vixxen sleepily. "Not you. Whoever's poking me." "You guys were exhausted," someone whispered. "Whuh?" "You slept the remainder of yesterday up till now---one'o'clock." Then the person continued to poke his arm. He brushed the hand away and opened his eyes to see Amber's face right up close, wide-eyed and grinning. "Amber!" "Do you know how much you state the obvious?" He jumped off the couch and gave her a hug which she gladly returned. "How did you heal so fast?!" "It was only loss of energy. They can heal that pretty fast with some food and rest. Hey, by the way, was I...hallucinating...when I saw Bob do a Reflective move?" "Ah, that's what I was worried about. I suppose not." "Me too." A yellowish hand rose out of the blankets and waved around drowsily. Vixxen's head poked out of the blankets and nodded. Then she huddled back in and swiftly fell asleep again. "You know what else you missed?" "Mm...no?" "Bob also did Razor Leaf attacks." "What the hell? How could his life have been boring with that?" ----------------------------------- "Bikuro. Marsh." The greetings were formal. Marsh, the girl rocket, stirred on the wherehouse floor. "I trust you've had your nap?" The girl sat up, as did Bikuro. "I-Ivory!" Marsh stuttered. Her superior had come to check up on her. "Jack," mumbled Bikuro darkly. He didn't like sitting in front of his advisor wearing his boxers and undershirt. "Where are the two we asked you to get?" "They're gone." "I see that. Where to?" "I don't know." "How did this happen?" "Big dumb and stupid, here." Marsh slapped the unconscious Machamp. "Bikki and I went to do errands. I saw, through a crack in the door, that the girl was weakened considerably." "Then perhaps they have gone to the Pokemon Center." "What shall we do with these two incompetant trainees?" asked Jack. "We'll find...something." TBC...
