The soft crunching sound of boots on ice shavings intermixed with the steady
breathing seems to break the deathly silence of the Mahogany Gym. The cloaked
figure walked silently out of the cold, dimly lit hallways, and reached a
gloved hand out to push open the large wooden doors, spreading a dim light into
the building.
Dreadite narrowed his eyes, and gazed up into the sunset skies, his Pidgey
poking its little head out of his cloak. The sounds of the town around the gym
were a quiet bustle, as Dreadite leapt up to sit on the roof of the building.
"Now, where did Eran get herself to this time, Pidgey?"
The sound of the pidgey’s tiny scream seemed ever louder with the chirps of
crickets and bug pokemon.
"You don’t say."

"DAMNIT! THAT GODDISH-FORSAKEN KHANNONDORF JUST WILL NOT DIE!" Andrew
exclaimed, turned off his copy of "The Legendary of Zellossom: An Ursalink to
the Past" and slammed the GBA on the desk. Nurse Joy and everyone else in the
Pokecenter turned to look, and some "sssshhh"es could be heard.
Andrew O’Reilly quickly pocketed the GBA, and grabbed a magazine to disappear
behind until people went back to their business. Then someone sat down with a
soft thud into the chair next to him.
"I love that game, you know. Have you beaten it without all your weapons or
armor?"
"Huh?"
"You know, on the HARD mode!"
Andrew set down the magazine, and frowned at the girl who was staring at the
GBA. "Noo, didn’t you hear me? I can’t beat the boss! On any mode what
so ever."
"Ohh." Eran shrugged. "No big deal, it comes with practice." She grinned,
and folded her arms in front of her. "What’cha doing at the pokecenter?
Waiting for someone?"
Andrew looked about for a moment. "Nah, just getting things together to go to
the Gym."
Eran chuckled at that. "A friend of mine is over there. I got bored of
waiting for him to come back out, and figured I should come down here. Want
some hints?"
Andrew stood up, and shook his head. "No, I’m all set. This battle
shouldn't be a problem..."
"If you say so..." Eran stood up. "Wanna go that way? I should probably get
back there, or my friend will kill me."

Dreadite leapt down from the building. "Damn, she’s nowhere in SIGHT.
Pidgey, I want you to go look for her. Quickly."The bird pokemon shot out of
Dreadite’s cloak, and disappeared quickly into the night sky. Dreadite’s
eyes glowed for a second, and he reached to his belt. "Go...!"

TBC? Oh, probably.
