After letting Yolei know that Mimic got better and daydreaming that he was the host of an Awards Show while Yolei discussed strategies for locating Bug Pokemon with her Pidgey, Marvin turns to face Famifax. He plans to to tell her that they should start looking for Bug Pokemon themselves before the Contest ends, but she's no longer standing next to him. He shrugs, "I guess Famifax wanted to get a head start. C'mon, Octillery, let's go catch a new Pokemon who can help me in future magic shows!" Marvin's Octillery, not wanting to subject any other Pokemon to the work he's instructed to do every once in a while for the magician he was traded to, grabs Marvin's legs with two of his tentacles and squeezes them hard. Before Marvin tells him to let go, a Beedrill perches on the Water Pokemon's head. The Octillery narrows his eyes and uses a free tentacle to slap the Beedrill, but the Bug Pokemon hops off and the Octillery hits himself on his head. "Oct... 'til... er... RRRRRY!" Marvin's Octillery releases his grasp on his Trainer and chases after the Beedrill, who buzzes off into the Park's tall grasses. "I don't even want a Beedrill." Marvin shrugs, "...but I prefer he strangle the Beedrill's legs than mine. Wait for me, Octillery!" As Marvin races to catch up with his Octillery, he wonders if Famifax has found any interesting Pokemon... However, Famifax has only found a couple of half-Pokemon - Kitsu and Keaton. The blue-eyed little girl with pink pink tails crosses her arms across her flower-print dress, stares up at Keaton the half-Tauros, then asks, "So, how have you been?" "Er... I... who're you?" Keaton asks, sweatdropping since he's afraid of the answer he imagines he's about to hear. The little girl just snuck up on him as he kept his eye on Marvin's Octillery, who he thought was Famifax until now. Famifax raises an eyebrow for a moment and smirks, "Heh, playin' it cool, huh? Like, ya know who I am an' ya know ya want me. Well, Bully, jus' wanna tell ya I gots a new guy on my mind - a really smart Dragonite called Drakey! Don't worry, ya don't gotta be scared 'bout your enemies hurtin' me anymores, 'cuz I totally don't wanna be yer girlie anymore." Xerox the Ditto, who's waiting next to her sister, rolls her eyes, "Why must you always seek out your ex-boyfriends to make them jealous when you find a new one, sister? Cease this nonsense - this Contest has a time limit so let us be on our way." "Whatever. Seeya, Bully n' Bully's sis!" Famifax giggles and skips into the tall grasses and after waving, Xerox follows her. Meanwhile, Marvin finds his Octillery and the Beedrill the Water Pokemon's Octazookaed into submission. The magician's about to hurl the Park Ball at the Beedrill, in the event that his Octillery doesn't want to weaken any other Pokemon, but then recalls that fainted Pokemon are not catchable. He glances around the tall grasses, then sees a small, shiny green Pokemon. He assumes it's shining because it's a slimy Bug Pokemon and he says, "Octillery, this time please just WEAKEN that Pokemon!" When Marvin points at the green Pokemon he spotted, his Octillery just crosses two of his tentacles and replies, "Oct." "Not cooperating, eh? Would you do it for a Houndoom Snack?" Marvin conjurs up a small box of "Hooundom Snax," a food product that consists of the remains of scorched Pokemon of varying shapes and sizes. He pulls out a burnt Jigglypuff eyeball and shows it to his Pokemon. The Octillery continues to cross two of his tentacles, but a third one covers his mouth as if he's about to retch. Marvin sighs, makes the box of snacks and the Jigglypuff eyeball disappear, then comments, "It always works in the cartoons." Elsewhere in the park, Famifax, who's just been disgusted by all the Bug Pokemon she's run into thus far, spots a tiny pink Caterpie and squeals since she's so happy, "Ooooooh, sis, c'mon, let's catch that Caterpie! She's just soooo cute! Plus I can wear her on my shoulder like a fashion accessory an' then all sorts of cute guys'll come up to me an' ask me about her!" "..." Xerox the Ditto glances up at her sister, "You no longer wish to remain faithful to 'Drakey' now that you have informed your ex-boyfriend about his existence?" Famifax giggles and shakes her head, "Nah, Drakey rocks, but a girlie likes gettin' attention, y'know! I'm totally 'faithful' like you put it - like, I'd only dump Drakey if one a' those attention givers is lots cuter than him! Fersure!" Xerox rolls her eyes and proceeds to Transform into a copy of the tiny pink Caterpie that Famifax wishes to catch. "Like, what're you doing?" Famifax asks, "Why don'tcha turn into a Charizard, sis?" Xerox sighs then explains, "Firstly, you registered me in this contest as a Ditto and I refuse to use my ability to Transform from memory since it would give us an unfair advantage over other contestants. Secondly, I have never committed the form of a Charizard to memory. Thirdly, we wish to weaken the Caterpie, not Fire Blast it off the face of the Earth." Noticing the Caterpie sweatdrop and crawl away upon hearing the last thing Xerox said, the Ditto-turned Caterpie uses String Shot on the pink Bug Pokemon, successfully slowing her down. Xerox then inches closer to the Caterpie. "Piiii!" The pink Caterpie shouts, then tries to Tackle her exact duplicate even though she's covered with white string. However, Xerox easily dodges the attack then mimics the Caterpie's Tackle with one modification - it actually makes contact! The pink Caterpie flies up a couple of feet then lands on her back. Before the Bug Pokemon can get up, Xerox proceeds to Tackle her again, this time knocking her back onto her six little feet. Noticing that the Caterpie is too weak to immediately retaliate with a String Shot, Xerox says, "Now, sister." When no Park Ball captures the pink Caterpie, Xerox asks, "Sister?" "Soo, like, are ya from around these parts?" Famifax is talking with a short boy wearing a large red sweater who's holding the hand of a short girl dressed in green who has a Ledian stuck on her head. When Xerox yells out "SISTER!", it reminds her that she's in the middle of a Pokemon capture, "Like, hold on one min, hon, I gotsta catch a Bug Pokemon!" Famifax hurls her Park Ball at the woozy pink Caterpie just as she uses String Shot on Xerox and the Bug Pokemon gets sucked in - the Park Ball wobbles a few times, but when it announces "ding", Famifax cheers and dances around for a moment, then asks, "Where was I?" Meanwhile, Marvin snaps his fingers when he thinks up yet another incentive, the tenth one in the past few minutes, to give his Octillery for catching the shiny green Pokemon who's just sitting behind the tall grasses, observing the magician, not feeling threatened whatsoever. Marvin suggests, "Okay, Octillery, if you help me catch that Pokemon hiding in the bushes, the next time I have a particularly beautiful female assistant at one of my magic shows, I'll let you use your tentacles to..." "OCT!" Octillery shouts before Marvin can finish the thought since he wants nothing to do with any of Marvin's magic shows. Marvin sighs and slouches over, "Forget this. No wonder they put an age limit on this Contest - some people are just too old to successfully catch Bug Pokemon." He hurls his Park Ball over his shoulder, into the bushes, then he hears the noise of a Pokemon being sucked into a Pokeball followed by a "ding." Marvin parts open the tall grasses to see a Park Ball resting where the shiny green Pokemon he wanted to catch was. "Could it be that I've caught a Bug Pokemon by accident?" Marvin releases the Pokemon he's just caught to examine it up close. A small Pokemon that consists of a large eyeball surrounded by a shiny green body shaped like the letter "N" appears. While Marvin's Octillery recognizes that the Pokemon Marvin has just caught is an Unown, Marvin still thinks it's a Bug Pokemon, even after it replies to Marvin's most recent question by saying, "No." "You mean I didn't catch you by acci-" Marvin pauses in mid-question, then gasps and asks, "You can speak English?!" The N-shaped Unown responds, "No." Marvin blinks twice, then shrugs. After examining the shiny Unown, he exclaims, "Hey, I could use you as a wand in my next magic show - the amazing talking wand that denies its ability to talk!" He picks the N-shaped Unown up and the Pokemon immediately Nuzzles up against him, glad that it was caught by someone who's plans aren't evil like those of the green-haired biker girl who tried to catch it earlier this week. Marvin picks up his Park Ball and starts searching for the Ditto Sisters, reluctantly followed by his Octillery, who can't believe that Marvin's Unown is actually happy about its predicament. -Marvin
