"Me, too," Jason whispered. It took a moment for this news to reach Jason's brain, and his eyes opened in recognition. He still unconsciously rocked back and forth, not disturbing Amber. She had not moved, but her crying had subsided, and he didn't know if she had pieced it together yet. Jason had heard of people who were connected by their souls having similar dreams. This could mean that he and Amber were soul mates. Still, Jason imagined those dreams being more benevolent. What he feared was that this could be a premonition. Of what, he couldn't start to guess. Jason was jerked from his introspection as Amber started to shake again. He held her to him, hushing her, fighting back his own tears. They were both found in the morning on the couch, with Jason laying on his back, and Amber curled beside him with her head on his chest. TBC... > (WEE!
