Quickly, they took off. Trent started to leave, then looked > back at Mimic. He shrugged, figuring he'd be fine, and walked off. When Trent's Graveler heads south along the shore to comb the beach, angry that his Trainer wanted him to explore an area so close to water, he leaves Mimic alone on the sand of the Cianwood City Beach. The Ditto, presently in the form of a human with blue hair, closes his eyes and moans as he rolls onto his back, wondering why he suddenly lost his strength for no apparent reason - after all, Team Rocket had trained him to withstand rampaging Tauros, so a mild gust of wind wouldn't normally down him. When he opens his eyes, he comes face to face with two familiar faces - one belonging to a blonde girl who looks like she's enraged and the other belonging to a worried Cyndaquil. "You're WORKIN' with that scumbag who shot that little girl at the Whirl Cup Competition?!" Belle shouts, outraged, "I thought you were just a petty stalker, but it turns out you associate with dangerous criminals! Why, I'll bet you LIED to Nurse Wendy when you told her about me!" She falls to her knees and slaps the blue-haired man with the palm of her hand then follows through with the back of her hand. This gesture of disapproval knocks out the normally resilient Ditto. Travis, who's just now started to recover from the psychic attack a deranged Shorts Kid recently inflicted on him, uses what little energy he has to pry Belle away from Mimic, holding her arms with his, "Whoa, calm down, Belle. This man looks hurt. We should take him to a Hospital." "Don't tell me what to do!" Belle yanks her arms away from the weakened Travis, "Didn't you see who he was with?!" "No," Travis replies, "I was focused on my throbbing headache when they arrived here... which, by the way, isn't helped by your shouting." "...I'm sorry, honey." Belle says quietly. She stands up straight and rubs her fingers through Travis' purple hair, massaging his head. "I saw who he was with, but I don't think we should jump to conclusions." Becky steps onto the scene, looking down at the speechless Mimic sprawled on the sand, "And if we're going to take him anywhere, we should take him to a Pokemon Center. I guess you still haven't fully recovered your senses, Travis, but don't you remember who this is?" "...uh..." Travis squints his eyes at the man on the beach, focusing his blurred vision until he recognizes the person. "Oh, it's Mimic!" Becky nods, "Let's take him to the Pokemon Center." "We SHOULD take him to the police... but I suppose it's best for him to get medical attention first." Belle walks over to Mimic's unconscious body, "I don't get it, though - why should we take him to the Pokemon Center instead of the Hospital?" Travis says, "Ditto." Belle smirks, "You think Becky's crazy too, huh?" "No, I mean he's a Ditto." Travis explains, grabbing Mimic's left arm, "I guess you really don't remember anything from your past. This is one of your closest friends. Now please help me pick him up - I'd normally be able to carry him by myself, but getting attacked both physically and mentally by a mutated kid obsessed with shorts who happens to be possessed by a powerful psychic collective takes its toll on a person." Belle grabs Mimic's right arm, Becky grabs both of his his legs, then the three teenagers heft Mimic and carry him towards the local Pokemon Center. Blazer the Cyndaquil follows, worried about his best friend's health. As they walk, Travis notices Belle's wearing her Karate gi instead of the halter top and miniskirt she put on before leaving the Gym to join him on the beach, "Hey, when did you change your outfit?" Belle replies, "Right before we Teleported over to where Becky was - I was hopin' to intimidate the Shorts Kid." Becky chuckles, "You were planning on intimidating him with a white belt?" Belle scowls at Becky's remark and the teens remain silent for the rest of the trip. When Belle, Travis, and Becky arrive in the Cianwood Pokemon Center's lobby and place Mimic's body on Nurse Joy's desk, she smiles and asks, "Is this an early Valentine's Day present courtesy of the Cianwood Gym? If so, let me be the first to say arigato very much! Mmmm-mmm good!" "What? Ewww, no! No, no, no!" Belle grimaces at the Nurse's insinuation, "That's a Ditto. We're hopin' you can heal him - me especially since I wanna ask him what he was doin' hangin' out with a certain someone." After eyeballing the blue-haired man on her desk a moment longer, Nurse Joy comments, "I gotta get me a Ditto." She stifles a giggle in hopes of seeming slightly more professional, then she slides Mimic from the desk towards the Center's Healing Platform. Though Mimic barely fits on the platform designed to hold a tray containing six Pokeballs, Nurse Joy manages to squeeze him into the tight space before pushing the big red button that has the word "HEAL" written on it. Joy examines her pink fingernails as the machine makes beeping noises until the final "ding" announces Mimic's successful recovery. Since the machine cured him of all his irregular statuses, Mimic is now a purplish-pink Ditto. Before Mimic can orient himself, Belle climbs over the Pokemon Center's front desk and taps Mimic's wobbly little chest with an index finger, "Why were you hangin' out with Trent on the beach?! Don't you know who he is and what he's done? And don't lie to me - I've been told you're my friend and even though I don't remember you ever bein' my friend, that MEANS somethin'!" -Belle
