"Mimic think you hate, team rocket, aqua, > magma?" He smiled warmly. Ben stopped glaring at sapphire to turn to > mimic, surprised. Sapphire grinned, formulating a new plan. Mimic morphed again, dissolving the boots on the magnet and absorbing their material along the thin line he left to anything that was a part of him, ordering the particles so they would be non-magnetic in his new form: James, with normal clothes instead of the Rocket uniform. The Rocket uniform had been careless of him - few Rockets openly wore their uniforms in public, since so many of the public would be predisposed against them. That probably held true in Hoenn, too. "You're saying you're not with them?" Ben challenged. "Nope. Mimic just making new friend in Sapphire, showing off impression skills. Is what dittos do." "You're a ditto?" Psuedo-James shrugged. "Mimic rarely in normal ditto form. Mimic know, Mimic unusual that way. Run in family." Ben walked over and helped Mimic up. "If you say so. Just don't do that again." Mimic morphed into a copy of Ben. "...or that." If Ben was phased by suddenly looking at himself, he did not show it. "Aww, but that one Mimic's best tricks." 'Ben' became 'Sapphire'. The real Sapphire chuckled to himself, having taken the distraction's opportunity to scan the crowd and confirm their ruckus had not attracted much attention. He was a bit surprised to see a full-scale barfight on the other side of the pub - apparently started when that white-haired kid and someone who Ben had been talking to in the other pub tried to enter at the same time, tripped, and landed in some bikers' drinks - but at least it showed no signs of approaching...yet. "He's alright, honest. Say, did you get that pokemon removed from your leg?" TBC?
