After the Flying Pokemon sees a familiar Doduo standing next to him and takes in his surroundings, he turns around to see Robert standing next to Rilli at the room's doorway. The dome overheard is currently wide open and moonlight pours into the room. Pidgey sleep in the trees planted in the room's dirt floor and a lone Hoothoot hops from leg to leg in one of the branches, occasionally letting out a "hoot". Farfetch'd removes his leek from his beak and tilts his head, "Far fetch'd?" "Good evening, Farfetch'd!" Robert salutes his tan Farfetch'd, "I have some news for you. You're going to be staying at the Gym with Rilli and Deimos, her Doduo - you remember him? We'll only be apart for a few months while I earn the rest of the Johto League Badges." "Fetch'd?!" Farfetch'd frowns, "Fetch'd far far! Farfetch'd, far?" "Aww..." Mithril-rama sighs, seeing how sad Farfetch'd looks. She tugs on Robert's shirt sleeve, "You don't need to leave Farfetch'd, Robert. I've got Deimos as my Flying Type. Even if you do decide to take Golem with you, if you leave Slowbro here you'll have one slot open for Farfetch'd." Robert shakes his head, "I've decided to take Charmeleon with me to Jasmine's Gym. I heard Fire's effective against Steel Pokemon." Farfetch'd sweatdrops. "Farfetch'dfarfar?!" "Charmeleon?!" Mithril-rama pulls a small Pokeball out of her pocket, the one containing Charmeleon, a Fire Pokemon she's been afraid to use in battle since Robert gave him to her, "But he... how can I put this? He has issues with you." "That may be so, but he did help me earn my Rainbow Badge." Robert points at the multi-colored Badge pinned on his black shirt, "I think he'll be able to help me earn a Mineral Badge too. If he doesn't cooperate during the match, I'll just send him back here." Farfetch'd wipes the sweatdrop from his forehead with his free wing. Rilli asks, "So you'll take back Farfetch'd after returning Charmeleon?" Robert replies, "Nope." Farfetch'd squawks, "FETCH'D?!" "I want to catch and Train more Johto Pokemon. I've also been neglecting Training the Johto Pokemon I've already caught." Robert plucks three Pokeballs off his belt - a regular one, a Great Ball, and a Heavy Ball. "My Murkrow's disobedient - I got in trouble towards the end of the Whirl Cup when he flew off my shoulder and started eating people's food and Pecking people's Pokemon. My Swinub doesn't battle unless she's allowed to eat while doing so. And while my Pinecone Pokemon is great company, he hasn't won a single battle since I caught him." Mithril-rama shrugs, "All the more reason to keep Farfetch'd and Golem on your Team. I want you to earn the remaining five Johto Badges as soon as possible so you can stay here the next time you return!" Robert puts his hands on girlfriend's arms and kisses her before saying, "I know, Rilli - I want to earn them as soon as possible too. But I also want to diversify my Team. Having a Dark Pokemon on my side isn't going to be much help in future matches unless he's gained enough experience. The best way for Pokemon to gain experience is for them to battle against Gym Leaders. This is for the best, Farfetch'd... Rilli will take good care of you and I'll be back soon enough! Farewell, Farfetch'd!" Robert and Rilli head out of the Sky Room. After shutting the room's dome and closing their Gym in Lavender Town for the night, they head off to their homes to get some rest. -Robert
