Oh, hey, I'm Smasher," Smasher introduced, offering his hand. "Nice to meet you," Alex said, taking the hand and shaking it. "We were just about to go shopping, wanna come with?" Aerie asked. "Nah, I've got something else I need to take care of," Smasher replied. "Catch ya later." "See ya," Alex said as they parted ways. Once they were out of earshot, she added, "That was close. I thought your cover would've been blown for a moment there. How did you know what to say? Did you use that mind trick again?" "In all likelyhood, he was here for the conference," Dee explained. "Other than that, I just gave him ambiguous answers and changed the subject. Nothing big." "It looks as if you might have some questions for your daughter once you find her." "Indeed." Meanwhile Shuriken telepathically made a Star Wars reference to Smasher regarding their recent encounter. "Damn straight they're not," Smasher replied. "That impersonator's aura was a lot older, for a start. I don't know what her deal is, but I'm sure it'll make this tournament all the more extreme!"
