Though we do tend to take it anime-loose with the stats anyway. ^_-] Clayton Dadd wrote: > Actualy deciding to move physically, Bob stood up from his leaning post on the > wall and headed for the concessions stand agian "Well, wonder if there's another > contest after that one. Indeed, it was not long before he spotted Kitsu, and only needed one guess at who had enhanced her costume. It seemed to flow over her as she moved, accentuating her curves in every pose without revealing too much. Above her heart lay the ribbon, tied in a bow and displayed like a lapel pin. "Well, congratulations." #^_^# Bob blinked. It had definitely been Aerie's "voice", but no coherent words, just a feeling of intense happiness. "Aerie?" Kitsu shook her head, as Bob noticed her eyes were smiling though her mouth was not. "She's been like this since the contest. And she's been sharing it with me. Not that I mind, but I'm starting to get a little worried." #I'm fine. ^_^# "You're sure?" #I won the contest, I made you proud of me ^_^ ^_^, and I got this ribbon. I've...never owned anything before, not really. It feels wierd, but neat. ^_^# Kitsu paused. She had not stated her feelings about Aerie's win, but decided not to challenge her assumption just then. It took only a moment to find a topic to move the conversation to. "You've never owned anything? Not even the clothes on your back?" #Nope. Grew 'em. You could say I've been naked every time you saw me. ;P ^_^# "...let's not and say I didn't. But surely you must have had something growing up. A few coins, some trinkets, *something*." #Nuh-uh. Anything I had was found, borrowed, or stolen, and I only carried it around so long as I needed it. Just like papa. 'Cept papa usually had a home to put anything he wanted to keep. ^_^# Kitsu reached out to pat what she thought was Aerie's head, until she realized she would have been patting her own breast through Aerie and the fabric underneath. "The next contest's registration doesn't even open for another hour. Keaton and I were going to look around, and...wait, why did I leave him alone?" "Because you were in a good mood?" Bob guessed. "Yeah, that's it. I'm sure he'll be fine on his own..." #^_^# "...but I really should check on him. I'm sure he'll be fine." A crash sounded from down the hall, shortly followed by a sentai team wearing "COMICON SECURITY" t-shirts running by towards the crash. Kitsu and Bob followed shortly. "This is your fault, Aerie," the furrier of the pair admonished. #Sorry. I can't help myself. ^_^# "That's okay." Kitsu wondered at how fast the urge to forgive had surfaced. "By the way, Aerie, you might want to hide the ribbon. They're supposed to be worn by the pokemon, not the trainer, and as you are now, it looks like Kitsu's the one wearing them." The ribbon quickly disappeared into the outer layer of Kitsu's costume. TBC?
