Subject: [PW!] Please Don't Pinch the Pidgeys Date: Mon, 27 Jan 2003 23:26:05 -0800 From: "Watcher Eve \(Chet Weaver\)" <nichirasu@hotmail.com> Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Yolei checked the time on her PokeGear and dropped her arm in frustration. "They should've been here by now," Yolei complained as she leaned against the solitary building on the small island. "Maybe we should leave without them. What do you think, Lyn? ... Lyn?" Yolei looked up from the patch of ground she was staring at to see Lynkeru chasing the fatest Pidgeys she ever saw and calling out "Heeerrrrrrre, Pidgeypidgeypidgeypidgey!" "Lynkeru, I told you to stop teasing the Pidgeys!" Yolei scolded. "I can't help it," Lynkeru said dejectedly. "These Pidgeys are just so pudgey!" At which point she turned to the nearest Pidgey and shouted, "Hey! You! Pidgey! Get over here!" Yolei sighed and held her face in her hand. Waiting on Pudgey Pidgey Isle was turning out to be such a bad idea. If Lynkeru wasn't chasing the Pidgeys, she was trying to fly by jumping off of stuff while holding them over her head. And she just looked so stupid doing it, too. Her mind wandered to thoughts of Tetsuo. He seemed a little distant lately, as if whatever guiding force he had up and left him to be a background character in other people's lives. They had been getting along so well, even if Yolei wasn't sure she could give up chasing after Ken for him, but now... "Maybe it wasn't meant to be after all," Yolei sighed. She was so wrapped up in her own thoughts she failed to notice the Pidgeys swarming all over Lynkeru in retaliation. Lynkeru eventually ran into the house to hide out for a while. To be continued...? [I'm on my way to getting Yolei & Lynkeru back on track. I just had this idea of Lynkeru chasing around the pudgey Pidgeys like the Cuccos in Legend of Zelda.] -- Chet "Tech" Weaver's Revised Basic Sig Desperado Coyote! http://desperadocoyote.keenspace.com "No ride is complete without a clown in an electric chair." -- My brother "That depends on what you mean.
