Ever since his last meeting with Mimic, the breeder's memories were fading in and out of existance. He remembered that he was helping Aerie, and he was doing this to keep the mini-collective from taking over Aerie, who's shape-shifting ability renders her far more powerful and dangerous than the grass-type hybrid. Aerie was already up and about. Currently she was watching rather impatiently. She had a quest to fulfill and she wanted to get on with it now. Bob was in a half-conscious state, his mind still roaming his mindscape. Ever since gaining grass-type abilities, his mindscape was lusher and greener, and he could have swarn that he saw a Chikorita wandering around. It looked translucent, almost ghostly. He also saw images of the Unown -- Dee floating there giving orders and the others following. Suddenly the scene shifted and he was looking at Aerie's face. "'Bout time you came back to reality. We gotta go get the rest of them Unown!" Aerie practically demanded, although partially relieved that he was awake. "Ugh", Bob groaned. "What happened?" Aerie waved a hand. "I don't know. I got there and you were battling Sabrina. You passed out, we both helped and Sabrina gave some cryptic advice, yada yada yada. Can we go yet?" Aerie said hastily, most likely skipping over details and omitting key points. "Um, yeah sure. But why here?" "Cause this is where everyone is, including Kitsu. She has the A Unown." Bob nodded dumbly and trance-like. Walking down the hallway to the lobby, Bob looked in a couple of open doors. Stuff was laid across the floor, a sign that the room was occupied. Moving on, another room held more stuff and more notably, a portable TV. The pair got outside and Bob looked around. He had a feeling that someone was around, but whether it was reality or a psychically induced delusion, he couldn't tell. So he shrugged it off and jogged to catch up to Aerie, who was already a few steps ahead. 'Ah back to what passes for normal. I miss the old familiar grind' Bob thought to himself. He looked at his belt of pokeballs and found only one Great Ball attached to it. While he didn't know what Unown was in it, the other five held his regular roster of friends and he was happy, and when he was happy he was easier to manipulate -- or so the Unown had learned. It was up to the wackiness of fate to determine that the day had in store for Aerie and Bob. TBC ------- Clayton
