"What the...?" Cass asked as she landed. "I can't believe this! I've been
training Hot Shot for going on eight years now, and that bishonen Psychic
knocks him down in a split second? How in the name of George de Sand did that
happen?"
Archangel's eyes narrowed, and the sword-wielding psychic gritted his teeth
in anger. "Maybe that overweight orange gecko of yours was just a weakling."
Cass's eyes widened, and she said, "He wields swords, has nigh-omni powers,
and he talks?"
"Hey, all he did was use Blizzard on his swords," Bo pointed out. "Then
combine it with Psychic to knock out your Dragonite."
"Since when could Gardevoir learn Blizzard?" Cass asked, getting to her
feet.
"Of course it can use Blizzard," Bo replied. "It just did."
"It's biologically impossible!" Cass cried out. "My stepfather was a Pokémon
researcher, and as a relative of one, I can tell you that the capability for a
Gardevoir to learn any Ice-type attacks, let alone Blizzard, is out of the
question! Electric-type attacks, yes, but not Ice-type!" Recalling her fallen
Dragonite as Nori rose to her feet, Set the Natu trying to shake himself back
to his senses, Cass pulled out a second Poké Ball and said, "And in the event
that either of those two know any Electric attacks, which is very possible for
either Gardevoir or Alakazam, I'll just have to use a Ground-type that can
handle Psychic attacks." She quickly tossed the Poké Ball and proclaimed, "Go,
Enigma!"
From the small red-and-white spheroid emerged a large, chubby-looking
creature that looked vaguely humanoid, its many eyes opening and closing in a
clear pattern.
"Don't start this without me," Nori noted, casting an evil glare towards Bo.
"Not only does he make slaves of Tyranitar, but he flagrantly uses multiple
Psychic types!"
Bo blinked, then said, "Uh, miss, technically..."
"Shut up!" Nori cried, spooking out the three humans present. "I don't care
what excuses you have, you're not going to get away with this!" She pulled one
Poké Ball from her belt...
[NS: Okay, that may be the last straw. Beth, I don't know whether you wanted
Nori to use Anubis or Cerberus, so it's up to you, please post soon. Minor tip
for everyone should Enigma communicate in later posts; make him sound like a
Vorlon (wise and confusing as hell). SHAKKmaster, I suggest you buy the
Ruby/Sapphire player's guide to help keep things straight with your Pokémon
attacks. If this kinda thing repeats, it a sure bet that you'll be banned.]
