> "Agreed. I'll try to find Aerie." Bob quickly stepped out of the
> room, just as Mimic noticed Joy was no longer present.
>
> In the storeroom, Joy blinked, returning to her senses, and immediately
> noticed three great balls missing from the rack in front of her.
>
> Meanwhile, three more great balls, tagged to Bob's possession, snuggled
> deeper into Bob's backpack.
Bob started to walk in a direction, hoping to find Aerie. 5 Great Balls
lined his belt, and currently he was trying to figure out why. The best
explaination that he could come up with was that he was Directed to do
it. It worked for him, but some nagging feeling told him that it wasn't
really
his explaination.
He walked among the streets of Scarlet City, wondering where Aerie
might be. He also wondered why the sixth ball wasn't one of the Unown's
Great Balls until he remembered that he only has five. Fingering the
remaining
ball on his belt, he opened it. However, no pokemon came out.
'Hmm ... empty. Now is this pokemon just out of its ball or is it
non-existant?'
Bob asked himself. The ball felt familiar, as if a best friend was tagged
to it.
He decided to delve further into this mystery later, as well as the mystery
of what
happened to the rest of his roster later.
Bob continued walking, passing a couple of the townsfolk and a lady in a
bulletproof vest. He continued his search hoping that Aerie would find him.
Five mintues of walking later he found the Ditto girl, slightly bruised and
highly frustrated.

Raffy also wandered the streets of Scarlet, looking for his wayward trainer.
The Girafarig had resisted capture from a couple of eager little kids but
was
relatively unharmed. Tired, he decided to lay down near an overturned
garbage can, his tail facing the garbage can.
'Damned kid.' Raffy thought to himself. 'I warned him that he was being
Directed by those Unown. I even hoped that by stopping so he'd run into
a pole, he'd snap back to his senses, but he just yelled at me. He even
brushed off the sarcasm ... no glares, no comebacks and no bop on the head.
I don't know what to do. I like Bob, but if I can't help him, what good am
I?'
> Indi the fairy popped out from under Lynkeru's hat, sheding a little light
on
> their current situation. It wasn't as crowed as one might think,
considering
> that "WYnowna" was just an illusion created by Shiny Unown Why.
>
> "What's going on?" Lynkeru asked. "That bomb should've gone off by now."
>
> "Unown," Why stated. "Unown?"
>
> "Nown," Pea stated.
>
> "Well, that was enlightening," Yolei said. She lifted up the lid slighty
to see
> what was outside. "Let's see if it's safe to... What the...!?"
>
> "What is it?" Lynkeru asked, peering outside the can. "Huh? Where the
heck are
> we?"
What they saw was the head on the Girafarig's tail -- a little ball for a
head with
two shut eyes and a closed mouth. Since Raffy's real head was out of their
view,
the quadriped would have looked rather strange. The pokemon stirred at the
sudden
source of noise, the head on its tail springing awake and to life.
"What's going on here?" Yolie asked, still looking from under the garbage
can.
