John had been on the ship for almost a whole day now, yet he hadn't
really done anything. It was impossible, here he was on one of the
grandest cruise liners ever to set sail, and lethargy had set in.
He had debated being in, or at least going to, the Talent Show. Then
he'd decided he didn't want to do either. So instead, he took a nap.
Well, no more of that, John hauled himself out of his cabin and out on
the main deck. The Sea air was fresh and the sun was bright. It was a
good day to be on the ship, but unfortunatly John was still bored.
He walked along the main deck of the ship aimlessly, he came upon a
boy who had a rod and line cast into the depths of the ocean, trolling
for fish. And apparently getting sick of it too. "There's nothing
biting to day." The young fisherman grumbled gathering up his bait and
tackle as he headed off, leaving the rod behind.
John picked up the rod. "Hey Kid! You forgot your - Whoa!" John was
almost thrown overboard when the line tugged violently. Something had
been hooked! John tugged and fought with the line, hoping to reel the
stubborn creature in, though he wasn't quite sure why he was doing
this. What was he going to do with it when -if- he finally got it onto
the deck. Capture it?
Well, he supposed that depended on what "it" was.
