From: "William Rendfeld" <warendfeld@aol.com> Subject: [PW!] Homecoming Date: Saturday, December 25, 2004 12:06 PM Homecoming It was over at last. He'd returned to Johto, after far too long. He'd been...blinded. It took a lot to realize that now. He'd been wasting his time, seeking power...when he'd nearly lost those things that he cared about most. He'd lost himself. He needed his old life back. He'd made sure to release his Pokémon, the ones that were beyond his control and reason. Tyranitar was back in the caves at Mt. Silver. Cacturne had been released into the deserts of Hoenn. Sharpedo was in the seas surrounding Dewford Island. Mightyena was in the wilds, free to roam as he wished. Murkrow was released into the mountains…despite a few problems. He'd left the stolen Gyarados at a Pokémon Center in Slateport, and kept the Seviper. She had nowhere else to go, it seemed. He had to sell off the hoverbike to pay for his passage back. But it had been worth it. Now, as snow began to fall around him, and the world became covered in white, he stepped onto a familiar, and almost forgotten, front doorstep. He looked down to his side at the small Pokémon, almost uncertain about what he had to do. "Breon," he said with a reassuring nod. Mustering his will, he pressed the button for the doorbell. The bell rang. Seconds later, it opened to reveal a young man, his ebon hair mussed up and a surprised look on his face. "Jason?" "Hi Vince," Jason Cassidy said at last, with a small smile. "Can I come in?" The younger Cassidy didn't respond at first, then suddenly leapt forward and held his elder brother in a tight embrace. "Sure, bro," he said, his voice overflowing with joy. "Welcome home." [NS: Jason is effectively in semi-retirement. As clear by my recent posts, Sai's going to be hanging around Alex, at least until the end of the Shiny Unown Quest. Fair for everyone?
