"Yeah," Lynkeru said. Indi the fairy fluttered around her head. "I've still got to find the rest of the Shiny Unown, or at least someway home." "And I've got a Pokemon Journey to get back to," Yuki added. "You can come with us if you want," Lynkeru offered. "It'd be like old times." Yolei shook her head. "No, I don't think so. I've had enough adventuring. I'm going to stay here in Cherrygrove, going back to school and helping my mom with the store." "If that's what you want..." Yuki started. "Wait," Yolei interrupted. She reached into her pocket and handed Lynkeru four PokeBalls. "I want you take these Unown back to the Ruins of Alph, if you can. They've been nothing but trouble for me since I started carrying them together." "Even R?" Yuki asked. "If I'm going to get over Ken, I need to do it on my own," Yolei explained. "I don't want R using its Reassurance power to mask my emotions." "Take Bea, too," Tetsuo said, adding a PokeBall of his own. "Tetsuo?" Lynkeru questioned. They knew he was there the whole time, but Lynkeru was suprised to see Tetsuo give Bea up. "I'm staying here with Yolei," Tetsuo explained. He put a comforting arm around Yolei's shoulders. "I want to help her come to terms with what happened." "That's awesome," Yuki and Lynkeru beamed. They knew about Tetsuo and Yolei's mutual attraction that they still had yet to express. "I wish you two the best of luck and happiness," Lynkeru added. "Uh, thanks," Yolei replied, wondering why Lynkeru sounded like she was congradulating them on their wedding. She picked Tetsuo's arm off her shoulders. "You too. But, Tetsuo, I don't want you to stay. You shouldn't let me hold you back. I... I want you to be happy, not miserable with me." Tetsuo clasped Yolei's hands in his and said, "But I want you to be happy, too. I can't stand the thought of leaving you like this. I want to help you feel better, even if it takes a lifetime." "Tetsuo..." Yolei said, gazing into Tetsuo's eyes and practically in tears. "Yolei..." Tetsuo said with the same expression. 'Yuki...' Mamoru said from the back of Yuki's mind. 'Can we go now? This mushy stuff is making me uncomfortable.' 'Okay, fine,' Yuki replied. "C'mon, Lynkeru. Let's leave these two alone." PokeWars! - Lynkeru "Return to the Ruins" by Chet "Tech" Weaver "Yolei hasn't been the same since she discovered that Ken was the Masked Rocket," Lynkeru said as she and Yuki walked along Route 32. "I can't believe he was Giovanni's nephew," Yuki said. "Think Yolei will be okay without us?" "With Tetsuo? I think they'll be just fine." "Hm." "Think they've done it yet?" "Done what?" "Nevermind." They walked through a nearby gate and towards the entrance to the Ruins of Alph. Lynkeru stopped and opened her satchel. "What are you doing?" Yuki asked. "Just checking to make sure they're all here before I return them. I had to leave some stuff with Yolei to make room for all the balls." "They do shrink, you know." "Oh, yeah." "Hey, there are eight here." "Yeah, I've decided to return mine, too." "So there's H, O, R, T, B, P, S, and Y. Are you sure you want to give yours up, too?" "Yep, but I think I'll miss them. They've helped me out of some tight spots." Lynkeru closed her satchel and looked up at the entrance to the cavern. "Well, here we go," she said. To be continued...? [NS: I'll just stop this right here to allow for intervention. Once Lynkeru returns these Unown, there will be sixteen in the Ruins and she'll be tied with Aerie. I think.
