The technician > pointed to a monitor, which displayed a swirly-eyed lotad who had been > receiving training to inflitrate Aqua bases. The little Lotad was scooped up quick to avoid it becoming an umpleasant smear on a floor. As Bob held the little grass-type, he saw Aerie's group's path of wanton destruction. Looking the other way, he noticed the back end of the other group. Torn about which group to drive away first, he opted for the group trying to be subtle. After all, trails of destruction were easy to follow. The brainwashed breeder stuck to the shadows, trailing the group as they went. The first fight bewteen the Magma grunts was way too easy, the ragtag group sporting water pokemon that wasily handled the opposing fire-types. A Manectric wiped the floor with the Zubats and the odd Golbat. The second wave proved to be more resilient than the first. Just as the big finishing water moves were about to strike, a blazing Solarbeam cut between the water and the combatants, leaving a nice little crater in the ground. The grunts fled, while the invading heroes stood their ground. A figure in a hunter green cload emerged from the shadows, only showing a hand holding a staff. "You are intruders here," the figure droned in an almost monotone voice. "Please leave now or I will be forced to make you leave." The figure said, his voice devoid of emotion. The figure then clutch the staff he was holding tighter, preparing for the inevitable. ------- On the other end of the base, a wanton trail of devistation was being created. Whatever walls Keaton didn't charge through, Aerie would blast through. Kitsu, Derek, and Chan were a couple steps behind the chaos, guarding the rear. "Are you sure we should let them do this?" Derek asked with genuine curiousity Kitsu and Chan shrugged. Not too far away, a surprisingly resilient door was still standing after a volley of Flamethrowers, Ice Beams and physical strikes. Suddenly Raffy had a thought, and it stupefied the Girafarig. #Why haven't we just teleported out of here?# Raffy asked aloud. "This more fun," Mimic said simply, flash freezing the door yet again. Xander, in a Defence Curl with Anger fueled by Aay, gave one last Rollout into the door. The mouse pokemon barrelled into that door with all he had and it finally buckled. With one mighty crunch, the door flew off its hingers and embedded itself into the opposite wall. "SLASH!" Xander cried out in triumph while giving the defeated door a few choice gestures. Aay was also radiating satisfaction. #Those two are going to be the death of me# Raffy thought to himself. Mimic snickered at the supposedly private thought. A few seconds earlier, the Wrecking Crew had just levelled yet another section of helpless wall. They came through just in time to see the door that Xander had just smoked earlier. The gesturing also didn't go unnoticed. "Wonder who did that?" Derek wondered aloud. "And where did that pokemon LEARN all that?" He also wondered aloud, observing the obscene signs The first question was answered for him when four more pokemon came out of the doorless door -- A Zigzagoon, a Ninetales, an Unown and a Girafarig. ------- Somehow while all the chaos was going down, Jeff had managed to sneak by undetected by those that remained at ground level. Mary had wisely decided that now might be a good time to hide in her pokeball. Two bodies might draw more attention than one. He had gotten about 50 feet before coming face to face with his brother. The brothers looked into wach other eyes for a dramatic moment. Jeff then growled as best he could for a kid. "You aren't my brother Ditto. The mentioned Ditto just grabbed Jeff's arm roughly and teleported to a different location. He had a tough decision to make ... torture his goodie- goodie half or test the brainwashing job the Magmas did on Bob. TBC ------- Clayton Random Tagline: BOO YAH! [NS: Glorious Chaos!
