Mace then continued down aisle, noticing additional statues. One seemed to be about the height of the "Smasher" statue, but read Alan "Lasher" Sandstone. Next to that one resided a statue of a female - its base read "Amber Powers". Further down, three statues were placed close together and the names at their bases read "Pidge Grayson", "Hawk Grayson", and "Robin Grayson". Another trio of statues grouped together across from the Grayson statues claimed to depict "Bonnie", "Ian", and "Clyde". Mace continued down the aisle, thinking about sailboats, until he arrived at a large group of statues - there being too many bases to read, he only selected two, reading the names "Crash" and "Wing". Even further down, he saw two half-completed statues - he couldn't make out the figures, but the bases read "Liger" and "Ghost Mew". Shrugging after viewing the abandoned sculptures, Mace continued down the aisle, wondering how many statues there could possibly be in this building. He passed a short statue depicting an angry Geodude - its base read "GEODUDOO", but it looked like that statue had been sculpted by a different artist. Continuing down the long aisle, he continued to read the bases of the statues he saw: "Harper", "Jordan", "Rossiter", "Ninja Squirtle Guy", and "Ninja Squirtle Guy's Mouser". Mace's journey continued down the aisle, and he passed a few more statues. The two that somewhat stood out claimed to depict "Serph" and "Terph", two people with the features of a Walrein and a Seviper, respectively. These statues didn't really stand out as much as the first ones he saw, but they were placed right on the aisle as if they were just as important as the ones near the entrance. Unearthly wails emanated from all around him, the walls and floor practically coming to life with the faces of tortured souls. Before him, on a pedestal carved of bone and shaped like a skeletal hand, sat a book bound in what appeared to be human flesh. Despite the dark vibes flowing from the book, Mace reached out to claim it. Before he could touch it, the book flew open and came to rest to reveal a page bearing a single message: "I, Chet Weaver, hereby give my permission to retire Smasher's Writer's Guide to make room for Mason 'Mace' Adams. Signed," Chet Weaver's signature spontaneously appeared on the page before the book snapped shut with a bang. Mace picked up the book and looked around at his surroundings. "Well," Mace said. "This should be interesting..." Just then, he looked past the pedestal to see a sculptor, presumably the one who made all the statues in the room, working on a new statue. Mace figured that this was the "Chet Weaver" the book mentioned. Approaching the lone sculptor, Mace asked him, "Excuse me, but are you making a statue... of me?" "Nah," the sculptor said, "To be honest, I started to, but then I got bored of you. Now I'm working on my latest idea for a new sculpture! It'll be a robot who looks like a human, but here's the twist - one of his arms will actually be a gun! I'm thinking of calling my original work of art Giga Boy or something along those lines." *** Meanwhile, in a Mareep Farm on Route 32 *** "That WG rule sure is a shame," Sarah the shepherdess comments to her little brother Teddy, "I mean, I would love to be out and about, but rules are rules."
