Yanking out the map, Mark began to look over the directions. "Another day's walk from here is Pewter City, and the first gym on the map." "Well, then," Ebony began to pick up her pace. "Let's go!" Suddenly, a kid jumped out from behind the bushes. In a panic, Sting dove behind Ebony. "Yo!" the kid was carrying a bug catching net. "You can't jam out if you're a Pokémon trainer! Anyone wanna battle?" Mark gestured toward Ebony. "Ladies first."
