Date: Monday, April 26, 1999 6:16 PM "C'mon... ring.... riiinng.... Please? Aww c'mon! Ok. 1...2....3... RING! Drat! Voted most eligible bachelor and nobody ever calls me!" Brock was sitting in the Pewter Gym staring at his phone. "I know! I'll call THEM! hee hee!" Brock dialed like the wind, and after three rings somebody picked up. Brock cleared his throat, "Hello Suzy, this is Brock! I was wonder- hello?" Brock put the phone down and waited. Maybe somebody would call. Then, he heard something. "Who's there!?" Brock called out, standing up and trying to look mighty. "Just us...." said one voice, female. "Yeah, your worst nightmare" said another, male. Brock cringed and looked around frantically. "Stay away!! Just leave me alone!!" "Too late for that, we're here..." "...and here to stay!" Brock cowered behind his chair. He was shaking terribly, the phone was just out of reach. The two figures stepped into the light. "Remember us? I'm Donna!" "and I'm Skag! BOO!" Brock suddenly looked relived. He stood up and cleared his throat. "Oh, it's just you two! You had me scared! I thought you were Jessie and James! They finally left us alone! Now what do you want? Both of them let out an exasperated "GAAAAAA..." What followed was a blur, Donna and Skag sent out their pokemon. Brock sent out his. Onix tackled Krappy before he could even get out of the pokeball. Donna's Magnemite was taken out by Brock's geodude, her ditto tried to transform into Brock's vulpix, but was firespinned before it got the chance. As for her magikarp... well, she ended up calling it back out of embarrassment. With that, Donna and Skag were BANNED from the Pewter gym. Sadly, they returned to the apartment Donna was renting. They both sat on the couch and tried to think. "Great, now we can't get a boulder badge... we'll never become pokemon masters!" Donna said, letting out a long sigh. "Hey! We can't lose hope, we'll figure out something! I know it!" Skag replied, determined to fulfill his goal, which was looking more and more bleak. "Ya think so?" Donna replied and smiled. They both looked into eachother's eyes. Donna leaned closer to Skag and their bodies met.... ...Then Skag's body met the pavement. He rolled over and looked up at the door where Donna was standing. "You disgusting little twerp!! What the hell did you think you were doing?? I never want to see you again, I'll take over the world MYSELF!! And here's your stupid Krabby!" Donna yelled, throwing the pokeball at Skag. It hit him square in the face. Before Skag could say a word, she slammed the door. Skag rubbed his face, got up, and brushed the dirt off of his clothes and said, "How was I supposed to know that she was just reaching for her pencil!?" "You blew it, you dumb...no... ya mor- nah.. DAMN! I ran out of insults already!!" the pokedex shouted. "Great, I think I can say that I am officially kicked out of Pewter" Skag sat down on the ground, his head hung low, "Now I'll never be a dictator..." The pokedex couldn't help but feel sorry, "Maybe ya just weren't MEANT to take over world. Why dont ya try to do something easier!" "Yeah right! NEVER!!! In fact," Skag whipped out his notebook and was about to write Donna's name right after Brock's. But then he stopped. He looked through the book, all those enemies... yet the only real friend he had was Krappy. "Maybe you're right... lets go to Cerulean. Maybe I'll catch some cool pokemon along the way." "Thats the f*ckin' spirit!!" Skag began to walk off, but he looked back at Donna's apartment, "Do you think I'll ever see her again?" "Yeah, girls like that don't just come and go. They Come, go, then come back with a gun and some well planned plot on your life! Ever see "The Blues Brothers?" "No..." "Well, YOU'RE no fun! Lets get out of this deadbeat town..." the pokedex muttered. With that, Skag walked off into the sunset. And about 20 feet down the road, he walked into a tree because he couldn't see with the sun in his eyes.
