Subject: [PW!][NC] An Abra's Reflections, and a Cat's Call Date: Tue, 6 Apr 1999 00:39:41 -0000 From: "Alyssa" <thefews@primenet.com> Organization: Co-Priestess of the Church of Mountain Dew Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Mars walked through the streets of the yellow city, at once furious and deep in thought. He was furious at Alyssa. How could the girl be good friends with *Karasu?* She *knew* the woman was a thief and liked being a thief, but didn't care! Okay, sure, Karasu had saved Alyssa's life. He could see how Alyssa would *respect* her for that, and be grateful. But Alyssa now deeply trusted Karasu. Mars spent every day in fear that Karasu would betray that trust, and leave poor Alyssa with shattered innocence and a slowly hardening heart. Just like him. Mars didn't want anyone to end up like him. And with Karasu's recent absence, announced only by a note that said she'd had to do some things (Corynn-san, can we have this apply to the in-continuity stuff too?), Mars' suspicions were at an all-time high. He wished there was some way he could warn Alyssa, but he knew she wouldn't listen. Humans could be so stubborn! He stiffened suddenly, feeling an enormous psychic power tugging at his mind. He searched the traces, trying to figure out what it was. Even though he was quite young and not very adept at this, he could identify this power in an instant. Mew. Mew was CALLING him. Dimly, he could hear other Pokeballs snapping open as any trained Pokemon with any psychic-type characteristics responded to the call as well. He felt the fatherly presence of a mature Alakazam nearby before he felt the older psychic's hand tugging on his. ((Come with us, child,)) the elder said, his telepathic voice resonant in the Abra's mind. ((It is time.)) Okay, I SO do not know where this is going. Anyone, feel VERY free to respond and help make some sort of a plot here. -- Lyssie Obsessive Raichu and Mew fan "There really must be a society against cruelty to James." -- Maria (I agree! Only YOU can save James from Jessie's paper fans of death!) "I admit, I set him on fire once with my magic paper fan." -- Corynn "If you took a Mega Kick to the most sensitive part of your body, how eager would you be to jump up and run after a Pokemon?" -- James, from an IM roleplaying session "Yes, ma'am, I know everything but the answers." -- Peppermint Patty "Pretty mother, so graceful in the water. Too bad I have to kill you." -- Tentacruel, from one of my fanfics "Fungus Terpsichoreus Kawaiius!" -- Me
