For some reason, she was nearly hit by a flying beachchair, but she ducked it. Slasher came running after her, sticking his tongue out at Electrabuzz before taking off. Tenchi ran after her. "Haven't you been listening to me? Team Rocket is just eating away at you bit by bit, if you-" Maria stopped and turned to look at him. She wasn't angry. But she wasn't happy either. Her expression was completely neutral. "Yes, I was banned from the Pokemon League......and Team Rocket gave me a second chance. But it never had anything to do with the League or Team Rocket." Her eyes lowered. "Some things....are best left forgotten. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to live the rest of my life as I choose." Before Tenchi could respond, she ran off down the beach. She was a good runner. It was something she'd done her entire life.
