The shelter isn't first class by any means. Made crudely of wood, this shelter reeks. It has a little window AC unit and a few wood chairs and a cheap table. A little refrigerator is in the corner. "What do you want?" asks Prof. Oak. "We heard there was some kind of event here so we came down from Cinnabar." lied Christof. "Well, there is. Trainers pairing in groups of 2 go out and find out about Pokemon. This is mostly for new trainers. "Ramon here is a new trainer." says Rachel. "That's good. Maybe you 2 could take Ramon with you out there. I haven't seen many other trainers here but the 2 that just left not too long ago. Did you see them?" asks Oak. "No no. What trainers?" asks Rachel, nervously. "You should have. I saw you outside watching us in here." says Oak. 'Something tells me he's not as absent-minded as I though...' thinks Christof. "What?" asks Christof. "You." Oak says, pointing at Christof. "Your shirt has a purple R under it. You are a Rocket." says Oak matter-of-factually. "Well well, you figured us out. What are ya going to do? You can't call anyone - there's no one here! And we are POSITIVE there are more Rockets here." says Ramon. "Get off this island! This is a place for Pokemon to grow peacefully!" screams Oak. "What are you gonna do? Fight us? No trained Pokemon are allowed inside!" says Christof. "I have a few with me just in case this happened. Get out of here!" says Oak, standing up. "Well then... let's battle." says Christof. "Not in here... I need this place after I win." sneers Oak, stepping outside. "Well... Oak isn't the same person as he is back at the lab in Pallet, is he?" says Rachel as she, Christof and Ramon step outside and draw their Pokeballs. ====Pokemon Island, Jungle. The floor is pretty clear around, with a vine here and there. The shelter is about a quarter mile north. "I'll go first." says Rachel, standing forward. "I call Super Kick!" says Rachel. "MON LEEEEEEE!" says Super Kick, Rachel's Hitmonlee. "I call... Venomoth!" says Oak. "Veno... moth." drones Venomoth. "Super Kick, Jump Kick!" "Venomoth, Sleep Powder!" Super Kick is just slightly faster then Venomoth, and sends Venomoth flying back with a Jump Kick before Venomoth can get off Sleep Powder. "Super Kick, Rolling Kick!" "Venomoth, Tackle!" Super Kick rolls toward Venomoth as Venomoth comes toward the ground to tackle Super Kick. Just as Venomoth gets close to Super Kick, it breaks off! Super Kick kicks into the air, but doesn't hit anything but the ground. Venomoth comes from behind and tackles Super Kick and Super Kick goes flying. "Super Kick, Focus Energy!" "Venomoth, stop it with Psybeam!" Venomoth begins Psybeam before Super Kick uses Focus Energy. Super Kick avoids Psybeam and begins Focus Energy. "Super Kick, Hi Jump Kick!" "Venomoth, Psywave!" Super Kick jumps into the air as Venomoth starts Psywave, and the Psywave misses Super Kick! Super Kick Hi Jump Kicks Venomoth and faints Venomoth! "Super Kick, good job!" says Rachel, calling Super Kick back. Ramon applies a Hyper Potion to Super Kick's Pokeball and hands it back to Rachel. ===== TBC
