Rachel beat Oak's Venomoth with Super Kick, her Hitmonlee. Ramon beat Oak's Wartortle with his Growlithe. Now, it's Christof's turn. ====Pokemon Island, Jungle. The floor is pretty clear around, with a vine here and there. The shelter is about a quarter mile north. "I'm next." says Christof, walking forward. "Go, Golem!" "Golem gol!" "Go, Aerodactyl!" "Aerooooooooo!" "Golem, Rock Throw!" "Aerodactyl, Wing Attack!" Golem finds a few good size rocks and hucks them at Aerodactyl. 3 of the 5 rocks pelt Aerodactyl, knocking him down. Aerodactyl gets up and attacks Golem. Not much damage is done since it's rock against rock. "Golem, Dig!" "Aerodactyl, Take Down!" Golem digs down into the ground and Aerodactyl misses his attack. Golem comes out of the ground. "Golem, Rock Throw!" "Aerodactyl, Bite!" Golem find some good size rocks and hucks them. A few hit Aerodactyl and slow him, but Aerodactyl closes in on Golem. Golem rolls out of the way and avoids the bite. Golem and Aerodactyl are clearly exhausted. "Golem, FISSURE! Finish him!" "Aerodactyl, Hyper Beam!" Golem jumps to perform Fissure as Aerodactyl uses Hyper Beam. A beam glances Golem, but not enough to stop him. Golem executes Fissure and finishes Aerodactyl! "Good job Golem!" exclaims everyone but Oak. "GOLEMMMMMM... GOLLL!" bellows Golem. Christof calls Golem back. Ramon applies a Hyper Potion to Golem's Pokeball and Christof puts Golem away. "We win Oak. Get out of here." "I'm warning you! Everyone will know that you are here! I WARN YOU!" says Oak, running back to the shelter. Rachel rolls her eyes. "I really hate him, you know that?" "Yeah. I hated him before this, but now I hate him even more." says Ramon. "We need to take cover somewhere." says Christof. They set south, away from the shelter. ====Pokemon Island, Jungle. This area of the jungle is rich with Bug Pokemon. Caterpie of all different color are everywhere. Butterfree, Beedrills and more swarm around. A few other Pokemon are seen. "It's getting dark, Christof. We need to find somewhere to stay for the night quick!" says Rachel, huddling against Christof. "I think I see something up there..." says Ramon, venturing forward. "Be careful..." warns Christof. Ramon disappears into something. Christof and Rachel catch up to find Ramon has run into a Kadabra. Ramon suddenly floats in the air. "Christof... help... me! I can't... move for my... Pokeballs!" struggles Ramon. "Kadabras are usually not aggressive toward humans. This one must be different. What would it be doing in a huge cave in middle of the jungle anyway?" asks Rachel. Christof is half paying attention as he calls out his Alakazam. "Ala... KAZAM!" "Kad? Ab? Ra?" "Ala..." Kadabra drops Ramon rather viciously and walks up to Kadabra. "Alakazam, Psychic!" Alakazam uses Psychic while Kadabra seems to do the same. Alakazam, with more power, takes over the Kadabra. Christof, remembering he can psychically control Alakazam, tells Alakazam to throw Kadabra out of the cave. Kadabra goes flying, much to the surprise of Rachel and Ramon. Christof calls Alakazam back. "How did that happen?" asks Rachel. "I learned to control my psychic Pokemon when I was in training under Sabrina. I guess I still can." explains Christof, trying to find a good place on the cave floor to sleep. He does, and falls asleep while Rachel and Ramon find a spot on the floor. =====
