They are found most commonly in woodlands and power plants. Today we are at the power plant outside Cerulean City in order to find these magnificent mice." Becky grabbs a large mechanism and carries it beside Cos. "This device emits a weak electromagnetic pulse that should attract our yellow pals." Beck sets the machine down and turns it on. It purrs and flashes with sparks. Cos begins to whisper, "it should only take a few moments..." A shadowy creature scampers along the ground by the machine. "Is that it?" Beck asks. "No... I think this is a Magnemite. This creature is indeginous to this region the same as Pikachu. Magnemites are curious creatures. We still don't know by what method these creatures levitate themselves above the ground. Perhaps they use their magnetic powers to push themselves away..." "Perhaps" Becky responded. "Nonetheless, he is not what we're looking for... GIT AWAY BOY!" The Magnemite scuffles off, angery and scared. Cos begins to whistle... the noice is slowly overpowered by a roar.... "....pika....pika...pika...pika" The noise crescendos. The herd of Pikachu are moving... "Uh... oh..."
