On his way through Celadon, He met Lt. Surge and is currently battling him. -------------------------------Story------------------ ----------- "One pokemon each!" Lt. Surge said. "I choose Raichu!" "Come out, Paras." "Hah hah hah, you expect to win with that puny little thing? You should evolve it as soon as possible. That's what I did to Raichu and look how powerful it is." "Oh really, lets start! Paras, Dig underground." "Follow it Raichu!" Raichu went into the tunnel Paras had dug. For a while, nothing seemed to be happening. Then suddenly, bright flashes can from the hole and and smelly spores were emerging out. "This is taking longer than I expected, Raichu finish the little thing off!" "Raaaiiiiiichhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!" "Paiiiiirrraaaaaaaassssss!" Parrrraass!" Paras was flung out of the hole with bruises all over it. Raichu came out untouched. "Raichu use a Quick Attack!" "Counter attack it with Leech Life." Raichu jumped into the air towards Paras and came crashing down hitting the ground. But it missed! "Rai?" Raichu was confused. It didn't see Paras anywhere. Raichu turned around and Derrick noticed Paras was latched onto its back slowly draining its energy. Raichu was still searching when it fell down exhausted. "How cheap!" grumbled Lt. Surge. "For that, I get to use an other pokemon!" Derrick knew that was against the rules but, in his usual manner, he didn't complain. Obviously, Lt. Surge under estimated him and didn't want this match to ruin his reputation. "Go, Electrode!" Without listening to Derrick, Paras came up with a plan using its knowledge about Electrodes. It dug underground again with Electrode following close behind. A few seconds later, Paras leaped out and buried in Electrode as fast as it could. Electrode couldn't escape and it made a high pitched noise. Suddenly, there was an Explosion and Electrode was no more. "All right! You win!" said Lt. Surge angrily. "But don't tell anyone that it was easy, or I may be challenged by too many beginners that think they'll win. derrick agreed and went on his way, but this time, with his second badge, the Thunder Badge.
