"Find out what's wrong and fix it." Normally, she would do that without question, but the *tone* of it had her worried. And for good reason, she thought after learning who the patient was. *beep* *beep* "C'mon, Mimic, wake up. Please." Meanwhile, in another city, a tiny dratini introduced itself to Icy as Mimic. Before Icy could reply, though... MTSowbug wrote: > As Phoo was walking, preoccupied, he bumped into something. May I ask what your name is, and what is your business here?" As fate turned out, though, Icy would not have to choose his conversation this time. A nearly monomolecular strand, invisible to the naked eye, lead up from the dratini, wafting on the air currents over several miles, until it finally lead into the nonresponsive lump of Mimic at Ivory Island. A head and a foot, almost. SimynLocke wrote: > "Squirtle...." > > From under the ground, the abandoned Squirtle cried out for help. As they ran, Simon's hair intersected the strand that was Mimic's body. A few hairs were sliced off by the razor-sharp wire before the wind of Simon's passing blew it away, but the sensation was enough to jolt Mimic into collecting himself at that point. Simon tensed, *feeling* a new presence where there had been none. It was a sense beyond psychic, one which all animals - humans, pokemon, and others, if one believed the legends that there *were* any other kinds of animals - shared. Many had speculated on its origins; some scientists ascribed it to a combination of air pressure, shadows, and sounds too faint to be consciously noticeable. He slowly turned around, wondering if perhaps Dreadite had caught up to him... "Ohh...Mimic no feel too good." Simon blinked. Hadn't he just taken Mimic to Ivory Island? "Mimic kidnapped, then kidnapped, then eaten...err, trainer no going to eat Mimic again, Mimic hope." He realized his mouth had been hanging open, so he slowly closed it. TBC? [Why, yes, I *do* speak retcon! ^_^]
