Wind crawled out of her sleeping bag. The sandshrew wasn't anywhere to be
seen.
"Sandshrew!"
No response.
Wind sighed and started rolling up her sleeping bag. It was time for her take
her leave from the island. She'd accomplished her goals and met some...
interesting people. She had taken a liking to the sandshrew, but she didn't
know if it would follow her off the island. It save her neck more then once.
But it was gone. Wind started cooking breakfast. She looked down at the
pokedexes, she decided she'd check them in Old Man Andrews. They seemed a
little too valuable, it would be the best place to hide them. Her thoughts
wandered as her food simmered.
Jack I wonder how he's doing... She thought. Last time at the coke bottle the
"unseen rocket" totured him into a coma. Wind ate quickly. She would be
leaving juct before sunset when the tide started coming, in that boat, if it
was there. Wind got up and started walking.
"Sandshrew!"
It jumped in front of her out of the ground. Wind smiled, it was going with
her.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"Ok let me got this photo."
It was 2 hours before sunset. For some odd reason sandshrew liked getting
photos taken. It didn't know what the camera was. It probably just liked the
sound. Wind walked over over to the incoming tide. She looked over and saw a
small fishing boat anchored a 50 to 80 feet away. This was going to be tricky.
Wind looked over at an area were the water wasn't too wet yet. The sandshrew
looked at the water nervously. It grunted and pulled Wind's pant cuff.
"Sandshrew, I've got to get to that boat."
Wind stepped and started walking on rocks. After about 10 feet she started
slipping and falling. Soon she was completely soaked. Sandshrew was hopping
on rocks, getting to the boat a lot quicker. Wind tryed swimming but the water
was still too shallow. If she waited for the tide, the waves would be too
wild. She waded slowly and fell. Soon she was covered with cuts and bruises.
A distance away she saw the boat. She waded a little more and the ground
started getting lower and lower. Then a bullet shot past her toward the boat.
The Sandshrew jumped into the boat about 30 feet in front of her. Team Rocket
knew the computer boy was missing. She heard shouts from the shore. They knew
she was there. She wouldn't get the gun, and the gunpower was wet anyway. She
went beneth the water as bullets fell in the water around her. Wind had to get
to the beat, had to get there fast. She started swimming as fast as she would.
The waters were started into get dangerous.
She got near the boat as the water dragged her the other direction back to the
shore.
"Wind!" The computer guy was yelling, the sounds of a sandshrew could be heard
too.
"The currents taking me the other direction." Wind used all her energy trying
to get to the boat. The few bullets shot abover her. She started drifting
away.
A rope was on the boat.
"don't fail me now," she whispered. She closed her eyes and let herself
drifted. Laughing could be heard from the shore. The rope started moving and
into the water. Then a tug was on her leg. She was safe and being pulled to
the boat.
Or she thought she was safe. When they saw her jump into the boat and started
shooting.
"Can't this can go any faster?"
"No," The guy was panicing. "Just get below and in a life jacket. They're
too far away for the bullets to get threw down there." Wind was too tired to
protest and went below and slept.
When I first saw you I already knew
There was something inside you
Something I thought I would never find
I look at you looking at me
Now I know why they say the best things are free
Gonna love you boy you are so fine
