He took out a map ad tried to decide which badge to get first. Celadon City had an X through the picture of the gym because he already had that badge. "Hmmm. Now let's see, Cinnabar? No, Leviathan's level isn't high enough. Saffron? No Way, I heard Sabrina's a real (censored) about winning. Pewter?, Hmm Yeah that might work, Hmm, Don't think I should use Ivysaur though, to easy. Feathers. Yeah I'll use him he could use the expirence." He took in his team. His Pidgeotto (Feathers) his Ponyta, Leviathan, Dragonite, Cubone & Talon. He steppped outside of the gym and sat on the shore of Charmander field. the wind ruffled his brown hair causing the silver streak to sort of fan out. He shook his head and his hair went back into place. He lay down and closed his eyes and fell asleep. ***An Eerie darkness appears in Jake's subconcious*** "Where am I?" Jake yells at the darkness his voice echoing. "What's going on?" Suddenly a light appears and a shadow of a winged creature, flying, comes flapping towards him. "Spearow!" It yells as it lands. Jake looks at the bird. "Talon?" he asks. Talon's beak starts moving but no sound comes. then, "Hey! Hey you, you alive or what?" His eyes open with a start, "Huh? What?" Standing over him is a woman, with long red hair, loose fitting jean shorts and a white T-shirt. "Oh good your still alive." She helps him up. "You looked dead." she said. Jake laughed. "Yeah lot of people say that when I sleep." He said stupidly. "She gave him an odd look. "Uh yeah sure. Well see you around." She turned around and started to walk away. Jake found himself staring at her. "Uh hey wait up!" He ran to catch up with her. "So where are you heading?" He asks. "Cerulean City. I'm out to prove that my fire pokemon are strong enough to defeat Misty's water beasts." Jake nods. "I'm going to Pewter first, going to beat Brock." She looks at him. "Nice Pidgeotto." Jake looks down to see Feathers trotting beside him, trying desperatly to keep up. "Oh yeah, Feathers, Up!" The bird flys to his shoulder. "I'm a flying trainer." "So do you have a name or what?" the woman asks him. "Oh uh, My name is Jake." "Clarissa Del Fuego." The woman says. "Uh what?" Jake says after blinking. "My name is Clarissa Del Fuego." She says convinced Jake's an idiot. "Are you from Cinnabar?" Jake says realizing her name means "Of fire" Clarissa laughs. "You'd think that. But I'm actually from Cerulean City." "Oh."
