He took his belt and snapped on the 2 pokeballs he currently owned. Jolteon and Abra were ready for the ride. Link decides to start with his local gym, the Cerulean Gym. Before going in, Link bought a thunderbolt TM to teach Jolteon. When Jolteon was ready, Link took a big breath and stepped inside. He sees a lone girl with very short shorts and exclaims, "I'm here for my first badge! Are yuo Misty?". "Yes, I am.", Misty replied, "2 pokemon each" "Alright! Jolteon, i choose you!" Misty replied by sending out her Staryu. "Jolteon, Tackle!" "Staryu, be careful!" Jolteon missed Staryu and got tackled by Staryu from behind. "Alright Jolteon, thunderbolt!" Streaks of lightning flew across the gym and hit Staryu straight on. "Staryu, return!", cried Misty,"Go, Starmie!" The starfish pokemon stood before Jolteon. "Starmie, bubblebeam!", ordered Misty. Starmie shot out the beam, hitting Jolteon staright on. "Hang on jolteon!" Link said, "give it a good Tackle!" Jolteon somehow found a reserve of energy and dove at Starmie. Starmie could not avoid it in time and was crushed. "Ok, boy! You win the Cascade badge, and a gift, My favorite TM, Bubblebeam. Teach it to a water pokemon, not a Rattata!"
