Subject: [PW!] Pyyrus and Pyro's Return Date: 1 Apr 1999 18:41:07 GMT From: ensigncj@aol.com (Ensign CJ) Organization: AOL http://www.aol.com Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Chris sat on the couch and turned on the TV, with Einstein off in the Bathroom taking one of his midday swims in the toilet. Chris then grabbed the remote and did a little channel surfing. Nothing much was on, the PWF RAW was on and was still looked so fake, the PHSN was offering a Swiss Army Leek for all of Farfetch'd owners out there, and the New Adventures of Batman/Pokeman was a rerun. Then the phone rang, in it's normal little high pitched digitized voice. Chris then rose off the couch and clunked on over to the phone. He picked it up and said, "Hello?" "Yes, is this one Christopher Pyyrus?" Said a snooty sounding secratary "This is him what do you need?" Chris asked still a littl grogy "We have several packages down here at the Pokemon Center, we wish that you could down and pick them up." Then before Chris could even say that he would be there the old bag hung up. Chris shook his head and grabbed his coat. He walked by the Bathroom and called into Einstein. "Be back in few Einstein...hold down the fort." Chris asked his Farfetch'd. "All righty ditty duckies!" Einstein called back. Chris smirked and bowed his head at the incredible stupidity of Einstein. He thought that the toilet was just a duck pond for Farfetch'd. Yet the little was quite resiliant, and could in fact hold his own in combat if he could stay focased. He next traveled to the front door and openned it up and went out into the hallway. Chris then went through the normal processes that were required to leave the building and he did so. After about 30 minutes, leaving the building and finding his way to the Pokemon Center, Chris opened the its large glass doors. He then quickly made his way to the front desk where he was met by Nurse Joy, "May I help you?" she asked. "Yes, I was about a half an hour ago about some packages that had come for me." Chris responded still a little aggrivated at the calling woman's tone. "Ah yes, we have one in from Viridian City Pokemon Center. It is Charizard Pyro, who is now at about 90% combat ready. For you to recieve him, I need you to sign this release from," she said holding out a clipboard with the form on it. The form just needed his signature do to the fact that it was already filled out. He signed it and handed it back to the nurse, "alright, and the other one is from a Mr. Edward Spirks and it came with this letter." she said handing two Pokeballs and the letter the Chris. He then left the Pokemon Center, and made his way back home. At home, Chris laid down on his bed and opened up the letter. It was definately Eddie's writing and he probably knew what it said, but he still read it anyway. It read: Dear Slughead, Well well, you finally came calling you old pirate! Well you gave me a deal when I needed it now it's my turn to do the same for you. I sent you my most up and coming fighting Pokemon, Jakkie. Jakkie is a powerful Hitmonlee, but is wild and is hard to train. Shouldn't a problem for you though aye? I'm gonna keep that Tauros you gave to me at our last buisness meeting, and now my debts repaid. Catch on the slip Slughead! Signed, Eddie Yeah, normal Eddie. Oh well, he now had Pyro back and that definately made him feel better. Also having a #1 recommendation from Eddie was a good thing for any Pokemon, but it probably also had definate trainer problems. "Well then," Chris thought, "after the auction I might have to pay Erika a visit, now that I have my big gun back". -TBC- -Chris Pyyrus **************** High Priest of the Garfield Syndicate ****************************************** Garfield is no cat!
