His mind was in the clouds for most of the journey, he was too busy relishing the peck on the cheek he'd gotten from Misty (See "The Crush in Cerulean). We now rejoin Runt as enters Celadon. As he enters the city, Runt is amazed at how different it looks since the last time he was here (See "Presents and Public Service). Seeing the magnificent buildings make him feel glad that he was part of the clean-up effort so long ago. Walking by the main square, Runt sees hundreds of people watching a tall man talking. "Hmm, that must be that Giovanni," remarks to himself. Making his way to his uncle's booth, Runt passes the Pokémon Center and notices the long line of people waiting to get their pokémon healed. "Good thing I healed you guys while we were passing through Saffron, we'd be in line all day," he says patting his fanny pack. When he gets to his uncle's booth, he is greeted with a big bear hug. "Doesn't the city look great?" asks Joe. "Yah - I can't even tell that it was destroyed..." replies Runt. "And how's Eve?" "Uh...I don't really know...I kinda sent her back to my folks house when I got a pikachu...Hope you're not disappoined." "Don't worry about it, That's just part of being a pokémon trainer. Since you only get to carry 6 at a time, you have to be selective with what pokémon you keep." "Uncle Joe...About this Auction thing, you've been here the whole time - is it legit?" Runt asks. "It seems to be, I haven't noticed anything unusual - or rather, usual about Team Rockets' activities...They seem to have completely honorable intentions." "Something just doesn't sit right with me about it...I think, to be safe I'll keep everyone but Rolly in my fanny pack - that way, they're safer if anyone tries to steal 'em from me." "That might be a good idea. Hey, did you hear that your parents are auctioning off one of their Dratini pups on Wednesday?" "Really, No I hadn't here that." "Yah, Its a female albino that was born in the last litter." "A pure white one? Whoa! That'll bring in a bit. Well, I think I'll take a look around now - Talk to ya later Unk!"
