From: Goola2u <goola2u@aol.comREMOVE> Subject: [PW!] Sneakers, the mighty hunter... sorta. Date: Wednesday, April 14, 1999 1:48 PM Sneakers looked at the surrounding woods. He'd run off, found his bag of stuff, and was ready to catch some pokemon. Yes, that was illegal here, but he was in Team Rocket now. The law was no longer his problem. His problem, actually, was that these trees looked so inviting... begging for a climb... NO! He had other things to do. Sneakers kept telling himself this, even as he found himself scaling the tree. Suddenly, he heard a hiss. He whiped around, slashing instinctively. Before him was a barely-visible green serpent, on its face two amber eyes and a stripe of crimson. "A Tree Ekans..." marveled Sneakers. He reached into his bag, and instantly the mighty serpent found itself in a sperical prison. Sneakers jumped out of the tree, landing on his face. Standing on his hindlegs, he looked to see where to go next. The cave off to the right looked inviting, and Sneakers planted his forepaws back on the ground, taking off towards it like a feline bullet as soon as his hands touched ground. --- Even at the entrance, the cave was black as night. Sneakers was increasingly thankful for feline night vision as he found himself deeper in the cave. Suddenly, a grim, yellowed figure crossed his vision, and a barely percievable shadow fluttered past him, almost phantasmal save for the dang Zubat's infernal screech. Almost without thinking, Sneakers threw pokeballs at the pair of them. He beamed with pride at his new catch. -- Sneakers returned to Maria beaming with pride. "Where have you been? I thought an Arcanine got you! Don't DO that! Come on, we have to find some rare pokemon!" "Here, have a Tree Ekans," said Sneakers disinterestedly, tossing the emerald reptile's pokeball to Maria. "But I get to keep Bludgeon and Sengir." "No way! This is impossible! Your weak pokemon..." Maria began. "These might help," said Sneakers, tossing a partly-empty carton of Master Balls to Maria. "That guy from Silph never even noticed," Sneakers smiled. Shard Fields, who would have mentioned something about a Meowth's unique hip structure which allows it to walk bipedally or, as Sneakers prefers, quadropedally, but that's a tad boring.
