"Did you have the chance to do what I wanted you to?" Dan asked Porygon. Dan wanted Porygon to get into Team Rocket's computers and find out information about some of their operations. "Pory, porygon gon pory," Porygon replied. "Only one?" Dan asked. "Ok then, show it to me." A small screen appeared on Porygon. Dan read from it. "Let's see...Pokémon Tower. Capture ghost Pokémon for use in future operations. That's all?" "Pory," Porygon said. "Oh well, then convert to plane form!" - The Pory-plane landed in Lavender Town. "Here we are," Dan said. He and Clefairy hopped out of the plane, and Porygon converted to his normal form. "Return, Porygon," Dan said. He walked down the sidewalks to the edge of town. As he stood in front of Pokémon Tower, Dan thought, "This sure brings back memories..." He had caught one of his best Pokémon here, Cubone. Dan and Clefairy slowly walked through the door. Dan entered and saw people everywhere. Pokémon Tower was a place where Pokémon were buried, and funerals were also held here. He and Clefairy, following close behind, ran up the stairs to the next floor. On the next floor, there were gravestones everywhere. Dan had to find the right way through the maze of graves. From behind a long row, Dan heard Rockets talking. "There they are. Let's go," whispered Dan. "Fairy," said Clefairy. "What! Not you again!" a Rocket said, seeing Dan step out from behind the graves. "Yup, it's me again. But first," Dan reached into his pocket and pushed the button of a tape recorder, and music came out. Dan began to recite... "My name is Dan, and I have a plan To stop Team Rocket From stealing Pokémon out of our pockets!" "All right, that's enough of that silly stuff!" a Rocket said. "Yeah, that's our job," another said. "Shut up!" the first said. "So, I guess that means you didn't like it," Dan said. "Enough!" one Rocket said. "Time to battle. Go, Victreebel!" "Clefairy, get out there!" Dan shouted. "Metronome!" Clefairy began to swing his fingers back and forth. When he stopped, a large blast of wind blew Victreebel and the Rockets into the wall. "All right!" Dan said. "The Whirlwind attack." The Rockets ran away, going up the next flight of stairs. "Let's follow them!" Dan said. "Clefairy!" Clefairy said. When Dan reached the top of the stairs, he saw a Rocket getting ready to catch a Haunter. "Uh oh!" Dan said, then leapt forward, blocking the Pokéball. "What do you want ghost Pokémon for anyway?" Dan asked. "They'll make our jobs easier," the leader of the group said. "They can steal Pokémon for us undetected by becoming invisible and by slipping through walls." "Well then, you'll have to keep the old way!" Dan said. The Rocket turned around and saw a small pink fist flying at him. "What?" he said. "FAAIRYYYY!" Clefairy shouted as he made contact, causing the Rocket to fall backward. "Heh heh heh," Dan said. "That's Clefairy's Mega Punch." "That little guy sure is powerful," a Rocket said. "That's right," Dan said. "And if you don't get out, he'll use some of that power on you!" "Clefairy fairy!" Clefairy said, taking a little fighting stance. Dan tried not to laugh at Clefairy's pose, since the pose was somewhat funny on a cute little Pokémon like Clefairy. "Now get out!" Dan shouted again. The Rockets got out of there as fast as they could. Meanwhile, a Gastly appeared in front of the "tough" little Clefairy, making him dash out of there just like the Rockets. Dan laughed at the scene.
