After stealing some fossils from pewter city's science hall, and aquiring a
squirtle, Tenchi set off for Cerulian city. Just then he heard a voice.
"prie, caterprie! [you kicked me back in veridian forest! now you'll pay]" a
caterpie poped out from behind a tree.
Tenchi deadpand for a second. Then he snapped back to reality. "look little
guy. i dont wanna hurt you. but if its a fight you want... " he pulled out a
pokeball; "kitty-chan! deal with this nuscience!" "MEOWTH! [yay! snack
time!]"
With that, the small cat gobbled up the bug in a single gulp. "meow [thanx
tenchi, that was delishious]" Tenchi then recalled Kitty-Chan back into her
pokeball, and continued on to Cerulean.
Just then, Tenchi noticed a sign posted. "Fearow for sale. $20. knows fly,
peck
gust and whirlwind." Tenchi bought the bird pokemon, and released it from
the
pokeball. The fearow flew up, squaking happily, glad to be out of the
pokeball.
It then landed on Tenchi's arm.
"I think i'll call you Airazor. Ok Airazor, lets go to Saffron city instead
of
cerulian."
The fearow took off, and Tenchi eargarly awaited meeting the lovely Maria R.
One hour later, Tenchi arrived in Saffron, and let Airrazor rest in his
pokeball. Just then, Blazer, who had been following behind silently, decided
to
speak up.
"Vulpix, vul vulpix [Tenchi i'm tired. lets check into the pokemon center.]"
"ok, but first lets stop at the mart. We need some supplies"
Tenchi went into the mart, and sold the fossils from Pewter for $1000 each.
He
then bought some potions, antidotes, pokeballs and rice balls. Then he
walked
over to the pokemon center and released asked nurse joy to heal his pokemon.
She took them and put Snakefish, Kitty-Chan, Airazor and Super Soaker's
pokeballs in the healing area. She then set Blazer down in a small, vulpix
sized bed. Blazer was asleep in seconds.
"Your pokemon will be fully healed and rested in a few hours. Why dont you
get
some rest?"
"Thanks nurse joy, i will." Tenchi then went to a nearby couch, and floped
down. He fell asleep soon, and was snoring quite loudly. Afew hours later,
Tenchi woke up. It had gotten crowded since Tenchi had fallen asleep. He
walked
over to joy, and picked up his pokemon, still in their pokeballs, and
Blazer,
who was just waking up as well. Tenchi took a look around the center,
looking
for some rare pokemon he could grab. Suddenly he heard a voice.
"Abbbbraaaa, Abbbbraaaa...."
Tenchi followed the voice until he came to a secluded part of the center. It
was an abra, without a trainer watching after it. Tenchi figured anyone who
would just leave such a great pokemon alone like that didnt deserve it. He
knew
it would teleport if he tried to attack it or throw a pokeball, so he wasent
sure what to do. Then he noticed a trainer feeding a jigglypuff. He went
over
to the trainer, and asked to borrow the pink ballon for a second. The
trainer
agreed, but watched Tenchi to make sure he wouldnt steal it.
"Ok jigglypuff, sing you slumber song to this abra.." nothing happened. The
trainer bent over and wispered something into Tenchi's ear. Tenchi
swaetdroped.
"I have to say..that to get it to sing?" The trainer shook his head.
"ok...Shabanabadingydongala, sing." The Jiggilypuff sung, and the abra fell
fast asleep. Luckily, the song was weak enough to only affect the pokemon it
was directed at. While the Jiggilypuff was singing, Tenchi took out a small
recorder, and got the song on tape. This would come in handy later.
After getting the song on tape, Tenchi threw a pokeball at the Abra. It
bounced
off it harmlessly. But it did wake the abra up. "ABBBBRAAAA!!!" It quickly
teleported to its trainer, who was resting in a chair.
Tenchi walked over to the trainer with the Abra in his arms, who was shaking
in
fear of being stolen.
"Im sorry, i dint realize this Abra had a trainer. I thought it might have
been
a wild one that had wandered into the pokecenter by acident." Tenchi
silently
cursed to himself. He really wanted an Abra, but they were almost imposible
to
catch in the wild.
"Its ok. My abra can't be stolen anyway." The trainer showed Tenchi
something
on Abra's neck that looked like dog tags. "These are special pokemon
proections
tags. They render pokeballs useless. In fact, i can loan you some for your
pokemon if you want. How many do you need?"
"i dont want any really. My pokemon are to strong to be stolen anyway."
"Do you really think so kid? Then how about a match. Outside the pokemon
center
of course."
Tenchi was more than happy to oblige. The trainer and Tenchi steped outside,
and each of them drew a pokeball.
"ok kid. We''ll do a five on five pokemon battle."
Both Tenchi and the trainer threw there pokeballs simotainiusly.
