"Uh...
> Rilli... little help here!"
Mithril-rama stared at the Gyarados blankly. "Well, uh... Electabuzz--" She
paused and looked around. "There's no room to send him out! He'd just land in
the middle of the ocean!"
"Then what can we do?" Robert wailed. "We can't fight, and we can't run!"
The Gyarados reared up to nearly its full height, and roared. Rilli squealed
and clung to Robert. The Gyarados roared again, and flung its body down over
the water, then proceeded to thrash about. Large waves formed across the sea
and Slowbro bobbed wildly in the surf, but none of them were affected besides
getting a little wet.
Robert blinked. "Was that... its attack?" Rilli could swear the Gyarados
looked sheepish, if that were possible.
The Ditto-Gyarados also seemed to realize its mistake, and began to shimmer
again. Its shape wiggled and fluctuated until finally settling on a gelatinous
form. "Ten-ta-cruel," it declared.
"Aaargh!" Robert quickly scurried away from the many-tentacled form. "Not
another jellyfish pokémon! Slowbro, use your Confusion attack!"
"Slow... bro," the dopey pokémon sighed before sending a barrage of psychic
energy upon the Tentacruel. The jellyfish pokémon screeched and almost
immediately crumpled into a limp pile of goo and tentacles.
"Yes! It's weakened!" Robert cheered, readying his Ultra Ball. Before he could
throw it, however, the Tentacruel began to glow again, growing bigger and
bigger... and bigger, and bigger still. Finally, a giant black shape floated
over the water, snoring loudly.
Rilli sweatdropped. "A... Snorlax?"
Robert frowned. "Well, I'm going to catch it anyway!" He hurled the Ultra Ball
at its rotund belly, but it bounced off and back into Robert's hands. A large
wave swept between them, driving Slowbro even further away. The two trainers
watched as the Snorlax drifted far away, snoozing blissfully.
