Organization: Me, myself, and I Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon [I was hoping for a little more drama, but apparently, it's just 2 of my WGs ;)] RK and Mindbender, alone, decided to go it alone after Sabrina to help her. Mindbender could taste the rich Psychic energy Sabrina was releasing. It almost made him giddy. With the fall of night, they crept into the gym. They hadn't taken more than 3 steps when... "Welcome RK. Why have you broken into my gym?" A solo light illuminated Sabrina. RK knew he had only one chance... "LET GO OF ME!!" He tackled her before she could blast him with Psychic energy. Mindbender grabbed the Gengar off RK and threw it to the ground. The ghost popped out. RK shouted out, "Gengar! Use your Hypnosis on her now!" The Gengar laughed and waves of hypnotic power blanketed the room. Sabrina did her best to fight it, but somehow, she fell asleep. She lay there on the ground, seemingly in pain. RK knew what to do from reading some of the old Channeler scriptures. "Invade her dreams and find out what's wrong with her. Mindbender, bond with the Gengar so you can tell me what's going on. Mindbender had prepared for this. The Gengar leapt into Sabrina's dreams and linked with Mindbender. ----- Destruction... Chaos... Blood... Mindbender was in the Dream Realm. What he saw disturbed him. Sabrina was normally a little hostile, but nothing like this. He wondered around, looking at different things. He started to understand what he saw. There was Shard, trapped in a crystal of some sort. Another showed Ash turned into a doll. A doll? According to stories, Ash was never turned into one. He searched more. Nameless trainers crushed. Lazy Abras whipped furiously. RK murdered. Pathetic Psychic trainers destroyed with a thought. People... Wait a second! RK?!? Why did she want to kill RK? HE walked towards the thought. He started to understand. She was jealous of Erika. Erika was nowhere near the strength, yet she could attract a suitor? Sabrina was much more beautiful and stronger, why had noone sought her? He wandered onwards. The doll... the doll that Sabrina had when Ash and Co. met her. She sat there lifeless. Mindbender walked up. The doll just sat there. He poked at it with a finger. It lay there quiet. Mindbender walked on. "I lost control. Someone else took it." Mindbender turned around. In the doll's place stood a young Sabrina, apparently beat up. "Someone came in and took it from me, but not with out a fight. But he hurt her and kept me from taking back the control when he left." "Who?" Mindbender asked. "Who took it?" "I don't know. But he built a bomb to destroy Sabrina. That's what's stopping me. It's building up power and then... BOOM!! She'll waste all of Sabrina's power at once. She'll be left defenseless." Mindbender nodded. "Can you show me where the bomb is?" The little Sabrina nodded. "I can, but if it's taken away, a lot of energy will still get let lose. Your body could be harmed." ----- Mindbender sat there in his trance. RK watched on as Sabrina groaned as if she was hurting. ----- Mindbender followed the girl. The landscape kept getting more and more realistic. Whether this was the Gengar's or Little Sabrina's doing, he was unsure. Finally, they came to a field. ... A feild? Yes, it was a field. He looked around. He recognized this place, it was famous for its dittos. He came across one Ditto. It just looked up and smiled. Then it glowd and changed shaped. Mindbender like seeing the copies of himself. HE always thought it was funny. Excpt, this ditto wasn't chaning into an Alakazam. It grew into... "Mewtwo! I should have guessed. I've heard all about you and seen pictures, but never would I... wait, it wasn't you I sensed." The Mewtwo started laughing! "Silly pokemon! You think you can stop this? I will...huh?" Little Sabrina jumped him from behind. "I'm not letting you keep it from me!! Give it back!!" Mindbender was suddenly pushed back by a Psychic attack. The two were struggling. ----- Mindbender snapped awake! "RK, RUN!" RK stood there and started getting up when sudden;y, the Gengar jumped out and ran! Sabrina started screaming in agony! "GET OUT OF MY MIND!!! AAAGGGHHH!!!!" She held her head as if she was in more pain than a Psyduck! Then it hit RK... The Psychic pulse that Sabrina's self-control unleashed was overwhelming! RK's mind scrambled in pain while Mindbender watched on. He could feel it, but he wasn't hurt. He saw RK rolling on the floor in pai, screaming his lungs out. Mindbender couldn't think of anything to do! ----- RK was screaming loudly, but he heard nothing! He felt Sabrina ripping him apart from all angles. He felt his mind split, his heart jump, his lungs burn... ----- Sabrina sat there weeping. She had no idea how it happened. She screamed for help. An assistant who happened to be up dialed for an ambulance. RK was still alive, but just barely. ----- "Blood pressure extremely low, brain waves exteremly erratic, heart beat is extremely weak. I don't know if he'll live. You should get some rest, both of you." Sabrina stood there, red-eyed. Mindbender was sitting solemnly, watching over RK. He spoke to Sabrina, "Go home. I'll let you know if he gets any better." Sabrina just sniffed and walked away. Mindbender didn't know how to cry, but if he were human, that's probably what he'd be doing right now. He sighed. Sleep was calling him, but he refused to ... wait. RK eyes opened! He ran to call a doctor, but he heard "stop". EH turned around. RK was looking at him. He walked over to RK. RK managed to speak, though it was difficult to hear. "Mind.. backpack... side pocket. Give to Erika." RK laid there still. Mindbender walked over to RK's belongings. He searched the side pockets and found a small box. He looked over to RK, who only smiled. He kept smiling. ... ----- Mindbender headed towards Celadon, quietly. Muscle Hug and Electronic went with him. They walked slowly, no hurry. [Next post tomorrow]
