He had deposited Flipper, his new Lapras, on the PC along with Emilia, Wilbur, and Einstein. Now he was getting into the habit of carrying only the team he was training, which was Sigfried, Turqi, Jakkie, Peaches, and Aztec. There was a crowd gathering for the Porygon Tech. demonstration. The path was relatively clear when he saw a small kid ahead of him. The kid, then noticing that he was ing watched turned around and observed Chris. "Hey!" the kid shouted to Chris, "I'm Tyler the Eevee trainer! I see you have Pokemon! Let's battle!" "Your ready to get a lesson in the art of battling!" Chris told Tyler, Chris debated on who to use. He decided on Turqi, do to the fact that he and his Squirtle had been working on his tackle attack. Now Turqi could do a Staryu/Starmie version of Tackle curling up inside of his shell and spinning. "Go Turqi!" Chris called. "You're gonna lose now! Go Jolteon!" Tyler returned. The Jolteon appeared from inside the Pokeball that he was kept in. Chris was a litle disappointed at his choice now, but he knew that Turqi to could win. He just had to use a little stratagy to win the match. Alright, Chris decided, Turqi had to use Bubble to slow up the Jolteon. Then he'd use his new airborne Tackle to daze the Jolteon, finally he'd finish it off with a powerful blast from Turqi's Water Gun Attack. "Alright, Turqi slow it down with Bubble!" Chris ordered. "Jolteon! Counter with Thundershock!" Tyler commanded. Yet the command was too late. Turqi threw a slew of bubbles at the Jolteon dazing him and causing him to not move, locking him into place. Now that his main weapon, his speed, was temporarily nulled, Turqi had the advantage. "Turqi now! Use jump, roll, then Tackle!" Chris ordered. The Turqi jumped up about 5 feet into the air then he leaned forward. He then began to roll forward and tucked himself into his shell. Now only with his head out he began to roll faster and faster until he rammed directly into the head of the dazed Jolteon. The Jolteon then collapsed and fainted, from the impact Recalling his Jolteon, Tyler ran off. Turqi on the other hand began to glow a bright white. He shimmered and grew a few inches. He grew large flippers and finally... "WARTORTLE!" Turqi cried, having evolved. Chris just smiled knowing that he was one step closer to having his old team back. His PokeDex then beaped at him,. "Wartortle, the evolved form of Squirtle. It is far more adapted for swimming with its large rubber flippers and prefers to to stalk its pray in the water. Turqi currently knows Tackle, Water Gun, Bubble, Bite" The PokeDex beeped. Chris then after the evolution of Turqi, Chris moved over to the demonstration. -TBC- (OOC: Tell me if the the whole "Airborne Tackle" is illegal, please tell me. I'll change it to just tackle.
