So they decided to join the maiden voyage of the S.S. Anne II in Vermilion. The cruise is a week long to Cinnabar. ====Vermilion Docks. Most of the docks are dirty and tired looking, but where the S.S. Anne II is docked, everything is spotless. A guard stands by a gate and a small guardhouse. Rachel, Ramon and Christof approach the dock guard. "Tickets please." says the guard, holding his hand out. They hand him their tickets. He runs the tickets through a scanner. An alarm goes off. "These tickets have been transferred through computer - a sign of illegal dealings. Where did you get these tickets?" asks the guard. "My mother." answers Rachel. "Well... alright. I trust you all. Welcome aboard." says the guard, opening the gate to the ramp leading up to the S.S. Anne II. Rachel, Ramon and Christof hurry aboard. ====S.S. Anne II, Front Desk. The desk is made of dark cherry wood and is covered by a dark blue silken cloth. A chute comes down from the ceiling and onto the desk. 3 clerks dressed in tuxedos stand behind the desk, waiting to greet anyone who comes aboard. The trio walks up to the front desk. "We need rooms." says Ramon. "Sure. Let me bring up your tickets." says there clerk. The clerk presses a small button and 3 tickets come out of a chute. "A double and a single room." says the clerk, typing a few things. "We have a double queen on deck 14 for the double and a single queen on deck 5 for the single. Is that OK?" asks the clerk. "Sure." answers Christof and Ramon. "What things are there to do on deck 14 and 5?" asks Rachel. "Deck 15 holds the pool. Deck 5 has a casino." says another clerk. "Thanks." says Rachel. Then, 2 bellboys come up, take their bags, make a 'follow me' motion and go to their rooms. ====S.S. Anne II, Deck 14, room 1409. The room is lavish. A large bathroom with a Jacuzzi, a bedroom with two queen beds, a separate room just for watching TV. Even a small mini bar is out on the small deck extending from the room. The bellboy places the bags down the Christof tips him. The bellboy leaves two keys on a desk and leaves. "What. A. Room." says Rachel, stunned that the room has so many things. Christof falls onto the bed while Rachel starts the Jacuzzi. ====S.S. Anne II, Deck 5, room 503. This room is not quite as lavish as Christof and Rachel's room. It doesn't have a mini bar or a deck at that, and a tub replaces the Jacuzzi. "Thanks." says Ramon to the bellboy, who puts his bags down and leaves a key. Ramon puts his things away, grabs his wallet and RUNS to the casino. ====S.S. Anne II, Deck 14, room 1409. Christof is on the bed sleeping and Rachel is in the Jacuzzi. "RINGRINGRING! RINGRINGRING! Phone Call! Phone Call! RINGRINGRING..." rings the phone so loud probably the entire ship can hear. Christof wakes up with a grunt. "Rachel, get that." says Christof, already drifting to sleep. "I can't! I'm in the Jacuzzi!" says Rachel. Christof grunts once more and picks up the phone. "This better be good." says Christof. "It IS, you fool." says Giovanni. Christof is alert instantly. "Oh... sorry sir. I just woke up. What do you need?" asks Christof, cheery. "There is some kind of gathering south of Cinnabar. Something with exotic Pokemon. Sources say that ATR is there. We need our BEST Rocket members." says Giovanni. Just then, there is knock at the door. "Can you excuse me a second, sir? Someone is at the door." "That is all. Report to Rocket Station Vermilion to get a bird type Pokemon and fly to island. Perhaps you should keep the birds you can get quick transportation to and from wherever your assignment is." says Giovanni. "Yes sir." says Christof as the line goes dead. Christof answers the door. It's Ramon, looking quite happy. "What are you soooo happy about?" asks Christof, bluntly. "I just won 100,000 PD at the casino! What's got you down?" says Ramon, punching Christof. Christof blocks the punch. "Duty calls. South of Cinnabar. Something to do with exotic Pokemon and ATR." says Christof. A sigh is heard behind Christof. Ramon and Christof turn to see Rachel, dressed and drying her hair. "Not even a hour and we're shipped out? Oh well. Where do we have to go?" asks Rachel. "Rocket Station Vermilion to get bird Pokemon. Giovanni says to keep them to use later." says Christof. Ramon leaves to pack his bags. Christof and Rachel pack theirs, too. All 3 are very unhappy, but duty calls. ====Vermilion Docks. Our trio is leaving. "Why leaving so soon?" asks the guard. "Uhh... family problems. In Pallet Town." says Ramon. "Oh. Best of luck." says the guard, tipping his hat. They hurry out. ====Rocket Station Vermilion. Christof is in a large all white room with cavities in the walls that hold Pokeballs. Under each Pokeball the Pokemon number and name are marked. Christof takes 3 Pigeots. He walks up to a computer terminal and registers them taken and they are not being returned. The computer asks for authorization. Christof types in his password 50 times and the computer doesn't accept it. His veins in his head are throbbing like crazed bait. Ramon walks in. "What is wrong?" asks Ramon. "Computer... die... accept... %#!&*%^... password..." says Christof. Ramon walks up to the computer and hits enter. "PASSWORD ACCEPTED. THANK YOU." blinks the screen. Christof punches the computer screen out. ===Air, about 2 miles from the island. "Are we THERE yet?" asks Ramon. "SHUT UP!" yells Christof and Rachel at the same time. "Just asking, jeez." says Ramon, babbling away. "Hey... is that it?" asks Rachel, pointing to a large island. "More then likely. Pigeot, land!" says Christof. Pigeot lands as does Ramon and Rachel's. "We need to look around." says Ramon. ===== TBC
