From: Dryad48 <dryad48@aol.com> Subject: [PW!] Zapdos, The Legendary Pokemon Date: Saturday, April 24, 1999 10:00 PM "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Zapdos was angry at the plane for some reason and was using its beak to Drill Peck through the body of the plane. "Gaaaaooooooo!!!" The passengers were miles away from land. "That's it!" Derrick cried. "We're all pokemon trainers right?" The people nodded fearfuly. "Then why don't we fight back?" "He's right, an old man said. "We must use our pokemon to avert the beast! Go Clefable!" Derrick sorta recognized the old man, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He took out his pokeball and threw it. "Go Beedril!" Derrick shouted. The others sent out their pokemon which included Pidgeot, Scyther, Kingler, and Raichu. The plane was now slowly plummeting towards the ground and Pidgeot, Beedril, and Scyther flew out. The three flew towards Zapdos and started attacking it with all their might. "Gaaaooooooo!!" Zapdos dodged even Scyther's Swift attacks. And grasped a hold of it with its sharp beak. It then headbutted Beedril back into the falling plane and thundershocked Pidgeot. "Noooo!" the junior trainer cried as Zapdos swallowed his precious Scyther. Beedril had fainted and Pidgeot flew away in fear. Zapdos once again flew by and the remaining pokemon jumped onto its back. "Kingler." It Vice Gripped onto Zapdos's leg while Raichu was Biting and Biting the monster's skin. This made no dent in Zapdos and he easily shook them off. "Nooooo!!" The girl screamed as she jumped off the plane and to her pokemon. Just about everyone, including the pilot, had jumped the plane and into the twenty-two degrees ocean. Only Derrick and the old man remained and there wasn't much time. "Clefable, you're our only hope!" the man cried. "Use the Metronome attack." Clefable started waving its fingers around and chanted. "Clefable. Clefable. Clefable. Clefable. Clefable. Clefable. Clefable. Clefable." It started to glow. "What is it doing?" asked Derrick. "Explosion! Jump off!" Derrick and the old man jumped and seconds later, the plane Exploded. "Gaaaaaoooooooo!" Zapdos was actually hurt and flew off towards the west. "We should follow it," the old man said. "He will lead us to the nearest dry land." "And how will we do that?" Derrick had stored his only pokemon that could Surf, Cloyster. "With this." The old man through out another pokeball which concealed a Lapras. Now Derrick remembered the old man, but said nothing for now. To Be Continued
