P;OTP: Dreadite took Wind to the Cerulean hospital. She left, and is
having some.. personal problems. Maria is still at the hospital, as is
Dreadite.
*And now... on with the show!*
Dreadite glanced upwards at the clock in the hospital waiting room.
9:17. Dreadite sighed, and picked up a book. "Readers Digest...
ancient."
He got up, and headed towards the upper patio, toying with a Pokéball.
As he walked onto the roof, the ball opened, revealing Pidgey. Dreadite
smirked, and pointed towards a spearow on the roof. The sun, slowly
setting behind him glinted with a white light for a second as Dreadite
pointed at the bird Pokémon. "Pidgey, you know what to do. Fly attack
it."
The Spearow screeched sharply as Pidgey dove down, slamming it off the
rooftop into the adjoining wall. It slumped down, and Dreadite smirked.
"It'll recover. Good work. The training will help you grow powerful."
Dreadite recalled the Pidgey. It would take a lot of work to get it as
good as the last one. At least this one would evolve, he thought to
himself. He took one last look back at the Spearow, and walked forward.
As he did so, a blue light flashed, and slammed down on the roof in front
of him. Dreadite leapt backwards, tossing his cloak aside as he did so.
Mewtwo stepped from the light, and glared. "You have been chosen."
Dreadite brought up his sword, and gave the Pokémon a look of utter
contempt. Mewtwo smiled, and waved it's hand. Dreadite collapsed to the
ground, and slowly got up. He grimaced, and looked at Mewtwo. "Chosen
for that?"
"No." Mewtwo's reply was short, and to the point. Mewtwo's eyes glowed,
and Dreadite suddenly stood up, and knelt. "Of course, master. It will
be done."
Mewtwo took off into the air, towards the cave. He vanished with a
flash. Dreadite stood up, and laughed. It echoed around the deck, and
Dreadite walked inside the hospital.
Dreadite flicked on a monitor in the phone booth. Giovanni appeared on
the screen. "Dreadite, make this quick."
Dreadite glanced at Giovanni's image, and his eyes glowed red. "Listen
very carefully, Giovanni, as I won't repeat this. I am the Voice of
Mewtwo. Cease your actions, or wither away. Mewtwo has spoken."
Dreadite waved his hand, and the phone hung up. He walked towards
the waiting room, with a calm, controlled look on his face. "Mewtwo is..
displeased."
Giovanni swore. Loudly. "Damnit, what is going on!"
"Sir, I think Dreadite has betrayed you." Goivanni's advisor nodded at
the monitor. "He appeared to be angry."
"No, no. He mentioned Mewtwo. I have a feeling he's not himself."
Giovanni stroked his Persian thoughtfully. Its fur slowly lowered, as it
calmed down. "As you can see, even Persian noticed something."
"Mewtwo sir? But he's been inactive for a long time." The aid quickly
sat down as Giovanni glared. "I want you to keep a close eye on
Dreadite, understand? This doesn't get out."
The aide bowed, and quickly ran for the door. Giovanni frowned, and
reached for a phone.
Jessie picked up the phone. "Who is it? Oh, sir! Yes? Yes sir."
She hung up the phone, and glanced at Meowth. "Dreadite has gone nuts."
Meowth shrugged, and picked at a claw. "When was he not?" His remark
was cut short by a paper fan. "Idiot! The Boss says it's Mewtwo."
TBC? (But of COURSE! Mwahahhaha! I needed something different to do,
and this is it. =P)
