Only pausing to send Car'tos a look of hatred, Seth turned his full attention on Aerie, falling into his own default form. "Aerie, are you okay?" He whispered, gathering her up in his arms. He could hardly believe he had her at last. Slowly recovering, the first thing that met Aerie's eyes was his black Rocket uniform. She followed up to his face. "Seth!" In one quick motion, she embraced him tightly. "You found me..." Seth held her happily, smoothing out her hair. If they'd been anywhere else, he might never have let go. "We made it. Mimic gets all the credit though." "M-Mimic?" 'Jessie' walked over, taking in what was going on around them. "Mimic nice to meet Aerie. Too bad conditions not very friendly right now." Seth nodded. "Are you sure you're okay Aerie? Looks like you were hit pretty hard." Aerie flinched as he helped her to her feet, but nodded. "I'll be fine." She narrowed her eyes over at Car'tos. "He'll pay for this." Something in her eyes bothered Seth, but he pushed it out of his thoughts. Instead he pulled his eyes away from Aerie and to the scene unfolding behind him. "That jerk....what....is it?" Mimic continued to look things over through the darkness. "Not entirely sure. Mimic pick up...Alien. But Mimic recognize ATR here. In trouble too." Seth blinked. "ATR? Anti-Team Rocket?" Slasher gave a low growl in his throat. "Yes." Mimic nodded. "ATR still in future?" Seth and Aerie shook their heads at the same time. "ATR was wiped out when I was still a kid." Seth looked ahead. "You think this is why?" "Too soon," Mimic responded. "Help ATR?" Seth looked uncomfortable. "I suppose we should....." He turned to look at Aerie. "Though it doesn't feel right." "If nothing else, let's get that ugly alien," Aerie grumbled. "I feel like hurting something." This time both Mimic and Seth gave her a wary look. Seth followed her eyes to where Car'tos was advancing on Simon and Raven. "I'm no anti-Rocket.....but I am going to make him pay for hurting Aerie." A hard look in his green eyes, he gave Aerie a quick kiss on the cheek and headed straight for Car'tos. Mimic, Aerie, and Slasher watched him go. Mimic turned to Aerie curiously. She turned to look back questioningly. Mimic just shook his head and turned his attention back to where Seth was going. TBC?
