Jake said hurling Caterpie's pokeball onto the grass. "Vulpix pix." Caterpie's opponent said. "Jake, a Caterpie versus a Vulpix? Are you crazy?" Clarissa asked. Jake grinned. "Caterpie need the expirience." "Vulpix," Vulpix charged towards Catrerpie. "Caterpie RETURN" Caterpie retreated to stand behind Jake. "Go Reaper!" "Scyther? Scyther!" Reaper glared at the fox pokemon. "Uh..uh Jake? Vulpix is RED." Jake sweatdropped. "Uh oh." "Scyther!" The mantis pokemon charged at the small fox. "Vulpix!!" Vulpix turned tails and ran. Reaper quickly caught up with it and a fight insued. the Scyther slashed Vulpix. Vulpix growled and torched Reaper. "Scyther..." Reaper groaned and fell over. Vulpix fell over next to him. "alright!" Jake threw the red and white pokeball, it hit Vulpix and drew him in. It shoo once.... twice.... three times... four... five... and stopped. The button turned white. "I got Vulpix!" Jake watched as the red and white ball glowed and dissapeared. Caterpie suddenly stood very straight and began to glow. "Alright! it's evolving!" "Caterpie!" The bug grew larger and changed shape.
