Subject: [PW!] Cerulean City - What Putrid Murky Water
Date: Thursday, May 13, 1999 6:10 PM
Minax snorts and spits out a huge wad of phlegm onto the ground. She
finds an artificial log placed next to a small pond of water set up in a
corner of Cerulean City. It is artificial, but the logs are supposed to
make the place look more natural. It isn't working for Minax. She
coughs, "What putrid murky water."
It's afternoon, and she is resting from a tiresome day. She reaches into
the pouch on her belt and whips out a small Communicator. She turns it
on and stares into the blank screen. After idly pushing some buttons, a
shady figure appears on the screen... the figure of the Boss of Team
Rocket. She speaks into the device, "Minax here. Cerulean City."
The tiny version of the Boss just doesn't seem menacing as he says in an
electronic voice, "Why haven't you reported in three weeks? We've been
receiving all your captures, but haven't heard from you."
"I've been busy." Minax uses her free hand to raise a fresh Pidgey skull
pendant hanging from her neck up to her dark eyes for idle examination.
"Can't expect me to call every day. I have an agenda."
The Communicator glares out, "Just remember that we took you in when you
had no where else to go! We took care of that gang that was harassing
you. We trained you. We gave you a meaning in life. You need to pay us
back."
"I'm glad you remember." Minax glances at her fingernails, painted dark
purple earlier that day. It is one of her major flaws. She always cares
about her outward appearance, and wastes her time with lipstick, polish,
and dead Pokemon jewelry. Even her clothing show off her fashion sense.
"Let me remind you that it was in Team Rocket's best interest to get rid
of that gang. They were competition...and Team Rocket had to crush them.
Get a few hundred Pokemon in exchange. Pretty sweet deal. Don't expect
me believe it was out of the kindness of your heart."
"I don't like that tone, young lady. Remember your priorities. It would
be a shame if... Nevermind. I won't waste further time with you. I have
other Rockets to deal with." The Communicator shuts off on its own.
Minax shoves the contraption inside the pouch hanging on her belt. "What
a waste of a human being. Now let's see what this swamp water town has
to offer." She stands up, stretching, and walks around the town, hoping
that no one would recognize her from the last time she was here. She
finds a purple haired little girl talking with a awkward looking young
man. "This might be interesting. Could that little girl be...? Nah... it
couldn't be."
Minax tries to make the least amount of noise possible while sneaking up
for a closer look. "Those hazy blue eyes. It has to be. Aislynn... the
daughter of that Rocket from Celadon. What's her name? Sharon? How the
little blind kid be out on her own? She was only 6 years old the last
time I heard... This could be interesting." Minax was surprised at
herself for talking so much. She shakes her head and walks over to the
pair of people...
Aislynn and the rather masculine Alyssa both hear light footsteps. Out
of nowhere appears a tall red haired woman wearing a tight black leather
top, dark blue jeans, and boots that match her top. Minax is at a loss
of words, leaping into view before thinking out a course of action. She
thinks for a moment, then begins speaking to interrupt the silence
caused by her entrance, "Hello, little girl. Is your name Aislynn? If it
is, I think I know your mother. At least *of* her." Minax then glances
at the boy standing near Aislynn, finding something wrong with his
overall appearance.
-Minax (I hope at least one of the characters mentioned reads this!)
