"Don't worry, ill find a way to repay you." Came BH. "Guys, can't we talk about this somewhere else? It’s late, and I’m tired. Not to mention that Car'tos needs to get his arm fixed." Said an overly active Nori. "Fine, but first Black Hole, put out that fire!" BH turned his head, and saw Oak's lab ablaze. "Aw don't worry, its gonna rain soon anyway." Just then, Lighting hit Oak's Lab. All three of them ducked down, and put their hands over their ears. As the load crash of thunder went by, a wired, blue glow oscillates around the area around them. Car'tos was the first to look up, and watch the "Portal" emerge. "ChronoShift...." "Wha!?" Asked the now calm Nori. "When Time, and the Elements meet. A ChornoShift is born." "And what does that mean?" Ask Black Hole, lighting a match. "Time Travel." Said Car'tos, slowly walking to the ebb in Time. Inside, blue ripples went by like a drop of water on a lake. The Shift itself was about the length of Car'tos, but a little longer. From a side view, it was no more then a few inches. Car'tos stopped right in front of the anomaly, and put his left arm in. "If this is really a ChronoShift, then my arm will no longer be broken if i put it inside." "And if it’s not?" "Then i lose my arm." He slowly slid his arm inside, and watched. The ripples intensified, and a slight, wet sound was heard. Car'tos' left arm shook violently, and Car'tos screamed in pain. "Aghhhhhh!!" Both Nori and Black Hole took a step back. "Car'tos!" He turned his head, "Just kidding,” he said playfully. Nori and BH dropped to the ground. Car'tos looked at his arm, and moved his fingers. "It’s a real Shift in Time then. Come on, let’s go see where it leads!" "You crazy?" Nori said getting up. "Why do ya want ta go inside?!" "Why not? Come on, let’s go screw up Time!" Nori and BH looked at each other and sighed. "He’s not gonna drop this you know.. might as well go." Nori nodded, and they walked up to the Shift. Car'tos looked at them, stepped forward, and disappeared in the rift. Nori and Black Hole sighed again, and they went in. TBC?
