He was getting tired, and this looked like as good of place as any to rest. Unknown to him, a pair of black beady eyes were watching him from the nearby brush. The creature nodded and bounced after Zagro, smiling. It followed Zagro into the cave, where it's keen eyesight detected a Zubat lurking, waiting for it's prey to come nearer. Zagro blinked. "It's really dark in here, isn't it?" With the new sound to follow, the Zubat attacked, hitting Zagro with a Wing Attack. Zagro fell backwards, landing with a resounding thud. He threw his pink Pokeball, and a Jigglypuff shimmered into view. Puffers appraised the situation and quickly tried to Pound the Zubat, which flew out of range. The resounding screech of a Supersonic beat into Puffer's head, driving it crazy. Close by, the beady eyes narrowed as it watched the Jigglypuff ineffectively slap a stone wall. The Zubat swooped down to feast on Zagro's blood... ...and was pummeled by the flying body of a screaming Clefairy. It landed in a heap, and struggled to re-gain flight while it was pounded by it's new assailant. It flew up with a limp and dived at the Clefairy, but mis-fired and hit the ground instead. It gathered itself and flew off. Zagro groaned. "Thank you... what are you?" "Clefairy!" "Really? I've heard of those. Why did you save me?" "Cle-FAIRY!" "Huh?" "Fairy Cle-fairy!" "Oh. OK. Well, would you like to join our group?" Puffers, still recovering, stiffened when she heard that. Competition? "Clefairy!" The Clefairy nodded. "That's great! I've got three Pokemon now! What should I name you? How do you like... Fuzz?" The Clefairy smiled even wider and yelled "Cle-fairy!" Puffers cringed. Clefairys were so innocent, and so... cute. She hated Clefairys; she was supposed to be the cute one! But it seemed she was stuck with it... for now...
