Be at the Safari Zone on the 30th of this month to witness or become a part of the annual Safari Zone race! You and your Pokémon will be racing against some of the best in the Pokémon League! Over two hundred contestants are expected to participate! Including... GARY OAK, one of the toughest trainers in the League! ASK KETCHUM, Pokémon League Champion! DARIO, world-famous Dodrio rider! His Dodrio can exceed 50 MPH! LARA, defending champion! Watch out for her blazing Rapidash! Autographs will be given following the race! Sirius looked up from the flier. "OK, then I'll wait here until then." He started for the exit. "Wait!" yelled Lance. "I want you to race." "Why?" asked Sirius, puzzled. "You don't stand a chance against Gary," he said, sternly. "A little race can't hurt." "But the Safari Zone is at least two weeks away..." mumbled Sirius. "You don't have a choice. That gives me an idea..." Lance smiled. "In order to fight Gary, you have to win the race." "WHAT!? YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" "I can do whatever I want. I'm your father, and head of the Elite Four." "But... I don't stand a chance against Gary, Dario, or Lara!" "You can use all six of your dragons in the race, as long as only one at a time is out. Those three only have one good racing Pokémon each. The race will last a whole day, ten hours." "Well, can you at least give me a ride there?" asked Sirius. "No. Your Aerodactyl should be able to make it in time." "Alright..."
