Starmie!" "Fine, gooooo Bulbasaur." Dern yelled as he threw the ball. "Bulbasaur, use your vine whip!" "Bulba, Bulba............ Starmie dodges the swift attack and it lays one of its own. Slam!............ Bulbasaur was hit by Starmie's tackle and he became wobbly. "Noooooo.........." Dern yelled. " Use your razor leaf Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur got back on track and then started releasing several hundred sharp leaves toward Starmie. Starmie was hit and had to recover. It dove into the water and regained its strength. "Grrrrrr......." Dern growled in anger. "Bulbasaur, use your solar beam!" Dern shouted. The first solar beam attack missed because Starmie was too fast for it. "Hmmm.... try it again, Bulbasaur!" Soon, Bulbasaur tried it again, and this time, he hit his mark. Starmie went flying toward the wall and landed with a big smack. Starmie had fainted and since she forgot that her other pokermon were in the Pokecenter, Dern was the winner of the match. "Yay! We won!" Dern shouted in joy. "Ok, fine heres the badge." Misty mumbled. "Yippe!....We di...huh? Whats happening?" Dern asked as he saw Bulbasaur's bulb glow. Bulbasaur was now evolving into Ivysaur. "Wow, this sure is my lucky day." Dern said to himself.
