He began to remember what had just happened. Orion was sitting on a bench, waiting. "Just wanted to thank you for your help," he said curtly. "Know where Sirius is?" "Nope. Haven't seen him since Pokémon Island." "Oh." Orion started. "Wait!" "What?" "Wannna have a Pokémon match?" Neo grinned. There were few trainers in Pallet Town, and it had been a while since Neo had fought anybody. Orion smirked in response. "Sure. But I'll have to warn you about how experienced my Pokémon are, and that they'll have no problem decimating whatever Pokémon a nobody like you has," boasted Orion, in a flash of arrogance. He quickly stopped himself. "But... You probably have... uh... some good Pokémon," he stuttered. Neo rolled his eyes and took out a Pokéball. "How about a two on two match?" "Fine by me." "Eevee, go!" Neo remembered that Orion trained Flying Pokémon and some other type. He put the Thunder Collar around Eevee's neck, transforming it into a Jolteon. "A Jolteon, ey? Then I'll choose... Dugtrio, go!" "Uh oh. I should have picked second," thought Neo. "Jolteon, Pin Missile now!" he yelled. "Dugtrio, Dig!" Dugtrio quickly burrowed into the earth. Just as Jolteon started her attack, Neo intervened. "Stop, Jolteon! Jump!" Jolteon promptly stopped and leaped high into the air. Dugtrio burst through the ground beneath her. "Double Kick, Jolteon!" Orion frowned. "Dugtrio, slash!" Jolteon landed behind Dugtrio and kicked the smallest Diglett of the trio twice. The Diglett squealed in a high voice and fainted. The two larger Digletts turned around in unison and slashed at Jolteon's face. Jolteon moved backwards. The two Digletts hid themselves beneath the ground again, dragging their fainted companion down with them. Orion stepped forwards to the hole. "Dugtrio, Earthquake!" Orion shouted down the tunnel. "Trio!" they yelled in response. The ground immediately began to shake, and a loud rumbling sound could be heard. The ground surrounding Jolteon cracked and fell. "Hold it!" Orion and Neo both turned to the familiar voice of Officer Jenny. "The use of the Earthquake attack is prohibited in this city. Take it out into the wilderness!" She pointed to the grass a few hundred yards away. "Dugtrio, return!" The ground stopped shaking once Dugtrio was returned. Neo did the same. "Let's go, Orion." Neo started for the town exit.
