Time to... do something! And force people to read the early archives. ^_^) <And now.. a scene switch!> Dreadite looked at the lab, darkly. You could never tell it was destroyed once, he thought as he looked at the finished building. Maria looked at it with a expectant gaze, and looked over. "What sort of mission is this?" "It's quite simple. There's something under this lab that we need." Dreadite smiled, and walked towards the enterance. "And I plan on getting it." Dreadite opened the door, and walked inside. Maria dodged past him as he froze in the walkway, and looked backwards. His eyes glazed for a second, and then he continued walking, as if nothing had happened. Maria looked at him, puzzled. "What was that about?" "Nothing of importance. Someone is following me, that's all," Dreadite said, smirking. "It seems we'll have to hurry it up a bit." They walked down the clean, squared off halls of the lab. The floor squeaked as they walked, it's polished surface playing with the reflections of the two. Dreadite looked around, and grimaced. "I think they covered it up." Maria didn't respond. She was reading the labels on the doors, curiously. Dreadite looked at the one she had stopped on. The bronze plaque was plainly marked with one word: Mew. She ran her finger across the word, and reached for the handle of the door. Dreadite looked down the hall cautiously, and then quickly grabbed Maria, and ran through the door, closing it behind them. The dust in the room stirred in little swirls, and then fell back into place. "Careful. Someone is out there. Probably a night guard of sorts." Maria nodded. "Some warning next time would be nice though." She looked around the dusty room. It was filled with folders and loose papers. Dreadite grabbed the top folder, and looked at the label. He quickly pocketed it, and glanced around. "Not much here. Documents from the Mewtwo project, prehaps. But this isn't exactly the tidiest office I've ever seen. It's hard to tell what's real from the bogus files." Dreadite picked up another folder. He looked at the label, and read it out loud. "'Eating habits of Mewtwo.' Obviously one of their last works." He set the folder down, and glanced at the celing. "But I found what I needed." Maria nodded. "What about this one?" She asked, handing Dreadite the folder. He looked at it, and opened it. He glanced at one of the papers, and shrugged. "This one shows promise. 'Mew genetic testing results.'" Maria grabbed it, and shoved it in her pocket. "But how do we know it's all there?" She glanced at the papers strewn all over. Dreadite looked down. "We don't. Want to sort through the mess, prehaps?" "Very funny. Let's get out of here," she said, reaching for the door. Dreadite pulled it open, and looked out. He took off towards the door as alarms sounded, Maria close behind. "I hate changes in ownership. They're very pesky." TBC? (Okay. The ball is wide open.)
